Man I support and wanted protect everyone's right to freedom of speech about as much as I respect freedom of thought. But ahh does it make me feel a bit queasy when people use the word Nazi lightly in a very non-Nazi context. Like how you gonna compare someone who's simply correcting your grammar to a Nazi 😭😭😭

Like I just read someone say "Nazi style strict rehabilitation for my heart surgery", to say that it was meticulous 😭😭 like ma'am, there are so many other analogies you could have used to describe meticulous.

What is this insistent need that our society feels about letting go and forgiving parents.

Like no if they were toxic and abusive to you, you don't have to try and make it work. Or "retry" that relationship. Nobody is allowed to treat you like that! And just because someone chose to give you birth, and provided for you for x amount of time does not permit them to leniences that allow them to abuse you.

You don't have to repair that relationship. Forgiveness is a personal thing, do it if you wanna and do it for you.

Abuse is absolutely never ever ever ever justified.
