The rest of my doodles while high with my wife. Most aren’t anything special, but I really love the two portraits of my love. Especially the double face one since she moved while I was drawing her to laugh and I captured it pretty well.

I got high for the first time with my wife, fucking insane experience. I drew a couple things during and after. This is a drawing or Tallon that I just thought was funny. I’ll post more soon

I desperately wish I was better and faster at making art.

To do this I came to the conclusion that I must stay at home for the next fifty years; without any unnecessary interaction, without the worry of financial pressures, and without the worry of my relationships falling apart.

Knowing this is impossible I am rather happy with where I am now regarding my skill and output.

Forgotten Gems : "Letitia Lerner, Superman's Babysitter !" from Elseworlds 80-page giant Vol.1 #1 (1999). Script (with some help from Liz Glass), art, colors & lettering by cartoonist Kyle Baker. A story later reprinted in Bizarro Comics HC (2001), Bizarro Comics SC (2003), DC Comics Presents:Elseworlds 80-Page Giant #1 (2012), Elseworlds:Justice League Vol. 2 TPB (2017) and Bizarro Comics:The Deluxe Edition HC (2021).

Fun Fact #1 : "All of the existing copies of the issue were withdrawn and pulped after Paul Levitz became concerned about a scene in the story "Letitia Lerner, Superman's Babysitter". The scene in question involved a young baby (Superman) trapped in a microwave. The story was later reprinted in Bizarro Comics. It also won Kyle Baker two Eisner Awards for Best Short Story and Best/Writer Artist."

Fun Fact #2 : "The story from the 2005 Pixar short "Jack-Jack Attack" was heavily inspired by "Letitia Lerner, Superman's Babysitter"."

I hate to go through this all over again. Last night, Itch.io, one of the most popular platforms for hosting queer and adult independent media, went through a large-scale crackdown on adult content.

This was primarily aimed at games, but novels and comics were hit in the process. Most adult content has been de-listed from the site's search, but some creators were banned without warning, and any funds they have not been paid are currently being withheld by Itch.io.

This crackdown was done, as it always is, because of payment processors like Mastercard and Visa threatening to pull their services.

The payment processors caved to an influence campaign by Australian extremist anti-pornography group Collective Shout, who have been inundating Visa and Mastercard with calls to force video game platforms to stop hosting adult content - which, of course, includes anything queer.

Collective Shout claim to have sent in 1000 emails to get this result, but there are a WAY more than a thousand of us. We need as many people as possible to make as much noise as we can!

WIP of my OC Amy. I don’t draw her often enough and I thought I should be practicing my digital art a bit more because I suck ass at layers and modifiers and gradient maps and all that. I got my light tablet working so I transferred and inked an old sketch I did of Hellboy.

Which gives me the changed to talk about just how much I love Hellboy. I first found Hellboy through the Del Toro films (he’s my favorite director) and then finding the comic. Which was around 7-8 years ago. Since then I’ve bought every Hellboy comic I could get my hands on. Every floppy, every collection, all of it. I can’t even really pin point what it is, but Hellboy as a creation is just everything I would want. Monsters, myths, cryptids, robots, aliens, dragons. Then all of Mike Mignola’s art. It’s breathtakingly beautiful and it holds a special place in my art as one of my biggest inspirations.
