(He/Him) I used to live in Hoenn but now work as a Depot Agent at Gear Station in Unova! I'm more well versed in the geography of Hoenn as I've spent much of my time exploring and caving there but I know a bit about Unova too :) My ace Pokémon is Swampert but I make sure my other team members, Manectric, Altaria, Aggron, Camerupt and Sandile get plenty of attention too.

i kinda just had the silliest idea for an ask game. dunno if it'll even be fun, but maybe with groovyle's help, we can all learn about new pokemon together! so!
reblog this if you are okay with people sending you a random pokemon in your inbox, so you can give your opinion on them!!

I sometimes do some battles on the singles train and as far as I know none of the depot agents try and have a “theme” or anything. Some of us write scripts to sound cooler but that’s about as far as we go.
some of the normal people who frequent the trains on the other hand… I worry about them.
-Depot Agent Peanut
Sometimes I try and battle any of the subways and I'm not good at it but it's quite fun every time! Do any of the depot agents do any sort of gimmik? I've never gotten far enough to see :(
Admittedly I don’t know bc I’m not a battler, unfortunately
Sorry!

yeah, I think there’s a gear station blog too? I wouldn’t worry too much though, so long as we don’t all start having TinkTon accounts I think Unova’s gonna stay in one piece.

Surprisingly I do know something about this! One of my brothers is studying the effects and usage of “Infinity Energy” or whatever your preferred name of it is right now so I shot him an Email and this is what I got as a response (perks of having way too many family members):
Dear Peanut :)
Things like this are actually a main focus of the research going on right now at xxxxxxxx and I’m glad to know people are actually interested by the subject. I would love to go on and write a few pages but for you I’ll keep it short and sweet. Everyone knows that Pokémon can use moves in battle and have special abilities that can effect themselves and those around them, part of what makes the wondrous world of Pokémon so special. Sadly the main point of interest on this subject so far is how can this energy be extracted (looking at you team flare) and used by people, who seem to be without this energy. I however have been working on the effects of this energy on people and how Pokémon use it. Basically when a Pokémon uses a move it taps into the well of “Infinity Energy” it has and creates that attack. Different varieties of this energy is what forms Pokémon types and move types, it also means that a specific sequence of notes can not hurt you. We are still looking at the changes of these attacks when recorded and played at different times or when amplified by a microphone, but unlike sing I doubt perish song will be the same after these modifications. Still, attacks only cause an enemy Pokémon to faint, and while the effects of people getting hit with attacks is not yet fully understood, fainting only seems to keep a Pokémon fully out for a few seconds before it recovers, even if that Pokémon won’t be able to battle for a while afterwards. Even so, when not in a battle situation moves seem to have a slightly different effect although that process is still very confusing and definitely not understood.
——
tldr: playing a series of notes can’t hurt you, even if perish song did hit you it likely wouldn’t have too big of an effect and it being played over radio means it probably wouldn’t work.
Before I sign off my brother wants me to note that many people are studying this field and results are not yet completely conclusive.
-Depot Agent Peanut
I'm curious what would happen if someone played perish song on the radio? Would everyone listening to it die?
Imagine if team rocket had played perish song when they took over the radio tower
no idea actually. i dont think that perish song makes anyone faint because of like. the specific chords or anything. like its not like "these notes in this order will activate the sleeper agent that kills you," more likely has to do with the actual Move Itself being used on a target.

Hello everyone! Mod Zoroark - the one running @darktypehuman - here! I decided to go ahead and make the network account for pokeblogging accounts! This blog is still a heavy wip, as I'm still working on the blank copy of the bio, but I hope to start adding accounts as soon as possible!
I'm restricting it to just pokeblogging accounts (IE, those who mostly just pretend to be their oc on tumblr, and don't like, rp in-person interactions between characters primarily) since I think if I listed every person who uses the pokemon irl tag I would be here forever.
Please spread this post around to let everyone know about this account! @realpokemon Hope it's okay to tag you, you're the most popular account I know of for this!

Your ace is a swampert? I've kinda wanted a mudkip for a while. I'm not an ace trainer who can manage big or sensitive Pokemon, so are mudkip easy to care for? Do they ruin furniture? Is tap water fine or do they need real marsh water?
I sure hope you’re ready for me to ramble.
I would generally say that Mudkip is pretty easy to care for, especially since it’s a starter Pokémon and quite gentle. Swampert can be a bit tougher given how much larger it is but unlike other Pokémon around it’s size, doesn’t require much area and usually enjoys enclosed spaces.
What water it needs can be a little more tricky but depending on what the Mudkip was raised on (if you get it at an early age it shouldn’t matter too much) because they can adapt to most things. I would like to warn anyone with a water type (Mudkip especially) that solutions that remove chemicals from tap/hose water can be important for drinking and bathing as things like chlorine (usually in city water) can be harmful if the Pokémon is exposed for it for too long. Thankfully if you are aware of it, it’s almost never a problem. Alternately the local pond or beach works just as well and provides a great experience for all.
it’s also important to keep a variety of toys around, as Mudkip love to investigate and touch different objects and surfaces. Mine likes anything from Carpet samples to squishy objects but, like many ground types, enjoys a good sandbox. Although I have to keep reminding mine that he can’t fit inside of his anymore.
And I wouldn’t worry too much about furniture as long as you don’t have anything you really, really, care about. Trained Mudkip are pretty good about not using water gun in the house but might find random ways of getting themselves dirty so just don’t get attached to keeping things perfectly white and shiny.
One last things before I stop info-dumping is probably to be carful with it’s fins. Most Mudkip are fine with their fins being touched but they are quite sensitive there so make sure they arn’t handled too roughly. I’m currently sitting on my floor petting my Swampert’s fins but that’s gained from years of trust and bonds. Most will take it well but can be especially uncomfortable around strangers.
Hope this helps!

As a person who works with Boss Emmet very frequently, he is indeed very kind :) he does take a little bit of getting used to as he can be quite imposing but is one of my favorite people! Also trust me, you are not on his hit list (I’ve seen it. No worries to most people out there, it’s mainly people in Evil teams)

Emmet is a Subway Boss in Nimbasa City! He runs the Battle Subway with his twin, Boss Ingo:) The subways also r just generalpublic transpoetation which I use to goto work- boss Emmet isjust. Verh imposingx. I’m surehes super njcebut currently I believe I’m on his hitlist

Funny how even as someone who has raised one of these cute little Pokémon for nearly all of the creature’s life, I never knew this! It’s amazing how much one can learn about Pokémon even if they’ve spent their life training them.
-Depot Agent Peanut
Electrike are one of the "double-coated" varieties of canine pokemon, meaning they have two kinds of fur all along their body: The longer guard hairs are mostly what you see, but they also have an undercoat of shorter, fuzzier hairs that are hard to see without being very close. Most double-coated canine pokemon use it for either temperature insulation or defense; and inch of fur around their body is an inch of tooth or claw that doesnt hit skin after all.
Electrike, however, uee their double-coat to generate huge amounts of static electricity, like an extreme version of shuffling across a carpet in fuzzy pajamas to shock someone. Their undercoat fur has a makeup that makes it very susceptible to losing electrons, the negatively charged particles in an atom, while their guard hairs can easily pick up electrons. This generates a charge imbalance all across electrikes body, only neutralized when the excess charge in the guard hairs is discharged as static electricity.
Back to the present, the electrike race ran out of sight a while ago, but it seemed neck and neck between two individuals. It can take a few different races over the course of several days for the pack to really be satisfied with the outcome, but it does also seem to act as endurance training for all participants.
#electrike and Manectric are such awesome pokemon#also surprisingly healthful in a variety of situations#im thankful to have one that’s comfortable underground as well#I’ve heard of some people who have electric Pokémon that arn’t too pleased with going in caves#normally I think these are ones that have spent most of their lives as wild Pokémon before being caught#my theory is that they don’t like areas where ground types gather#then again I could have just only spoken with people who’s Pokémon just don’t like caves

What’s your favorite bonding activity to take part in with your pokémon?
hmmmmm, that’s a tough one. I have a wide variety of types on my team so while something like my Swampert enjoys swimming and surfing, my Aggron definitely does not. I would say our overall favorite activity to do together is some kind of caving or exploring! All of my Pokémon are trained in search and rescue (specifically for underground) so we don’t have to worry much about getting lost or trapped and it usually makes for a nice get away trip.
#pokemon are real#unreality#Just remember that hiking and going underground arn’t for everyone!#Remember to prepare the proper equipment and do your safety checks!#Honestly I think if I spend to much more time with Emmet I’m going to accidentally start saying all aboard constantly

Hello People
Peanut here! Hope everyone is doing well :)
As you can see, I have recently started an ask blog for things and such. I’ve noticed quite a few other trainers doing something like this and decided it might be a neat way to meet people.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
I am a minor, please keep that in mind.
I do in fact work with the subway bosses. Both of them. You can actually find them as well as others I work with at @subway-bosses-official although be warned, little different set up. [story based roleplay]
The person who helps run this blog is @cucco-haha and you will probably see them once in a while! [my main]
You can read my description or go lower on this post for more information about me! I hope everyone is doing okay :)
Also make sure to read the “Other” section for information regarding OOC headcannons important to the blog!
MORE ABOUT ME:
More specifically my job at the UTA (Unovan Transit Authority) is tunnel maintenance. Anything from check-ups to actual construction is my job but I do also take some battle shifts on the singles train from time to time.
Back in Hoenn I was actually a tour guide specifically for the region’s famous caves! I was there to teach people about the Pokémon, show them places off route that would be dangerous to go to alone and make sure no one got hurt. My main place I would tour is Meteor Falls but upon special requests I would do others. I’ve only ever heard of @hoenn-facts but it seems they do something similar :)
I have attempted the gym challenge in Hoenn before but never actually obtained all of the badges (I think I’m missing one) but I have not tried the Unova gyms aside from Elesa’s due to me living so close.
My name is not actually Peanut, that is a nickname due to me being really short. Most people just call me it anyways (even my family) so just act like it’s my name.
Be warned: I am a major Hoenn Rangers Coexistence Force fan and will fight to the ends of the world for that show.
OTHER:
Team Magma/Team Aqua headcannons (IMPORTANT): Team Magam/Aqua are not Evil according to this blog! They did not hurt anyone and are now helping Hoenn recover from their mistakes. For more information on Peanut’s past with them as well as to learn more make sure to ask him about Team Magma.
Ingo and Emmet Timeline: This blog takes place well after Ingo got sent to and returned from the past. Both Ingo and Emmet are back to running the Subway just as it was before however there are occasional visits from a Sinnoh girl and her wacky tall cat.
Some more places to check out if you have an interest in Pokémon are @pokemon-headcanons-askblog (run by a professor in… Sinnoh I think) and @realpokemon
Anyways, hope everyone is doing okay! :)
