lakefront cabin in the woods = kin euphoria.

i can't wait until the summer when i can swim in the lake and run off into the forest . this place is were i first confirmed i was a wolf therian 3 years ago, it was my first full mental shift, and it made me stop questioning myself on what i was. i love this place, i literally go out on this really small island and run around on my paws and sunbathe in the sun and it literally is so euphoric. you cant even imagine how calming and kin comforting it is to be so close and connected with the place of my kin identity was solidified and explored freely, even for just a little bit.

i cant tell if its the pack urges from being a werewolfkin or the pack urges from being a wolf therian but fuck, my friends are my everything and when they feel scared or unsafe it just triggers the most vile part of me to come out. the people i choose to hold close mean more to me than anything else and i refuse to see them hurt when i can do something about it, and i will do litterally anything to make them happy and feel safe. caring for my friends and making their days better bring me insane ammounts of joy and peace. to be honest the wolf pack urges make me protective and attentive to their needs and wants and the werewolf pack urges make me violent and obsessive over their safety.

coming from a transmale and a victim of child abuse- the feeling of inhumanity and dehumanization was present in my life, and even if i dont use kinhood and therianthrope to cope i accepted the label very easy and i dont have that impostor syndrome i hear of therians / otherkin having !

given how alienating and dehumanizing the trans experience can be, is there really any question as to why so many of us identify as nonhuman? come on, now

being an otherkin with a big ass tail and getting phantom tail is sitting weird in cars and feeling embarrassed if you feel like your tail is taking up too much space, turning carefully around tables and dressers because you feel like you'll knock the contents off, feeling awkward when people stand too close behind you, hating the feeling of tight pants, getting scared you'll knock over people if you turn to fast, tail wags strong enough to power a city, sleeping on your back, never being able to find / make gear that properly mimics the size of your phantom tail without spending crazy ammounts of money or crazy ammounts of time, curling your tail around yourself when you sleep because its fucking huge, imagining using your tail like a whip / pushing the foes away !
