It’s not going to be the same thing year after year. We’re nearing the tipping point. Covid will only be harder to avoid from here on out. Though some part of me clings to the hope that it’ll at least spark more popular awareness. I think it’ll take devastating impacts before any true change will happen, but any little bit of additional momentum is valuable.

Please, if you haven’t looked at Covid research until now, do so now. By the time there are positive changes, it’ll be too late for far too many people. Individual prevention will always be an uphill battle in the face of institutional and systemic apathy, but if a few less people become sick, that’s still a good thing.

ME/CFS, dysautonomia, autoimmune issues, and PEM are not curable conditions. Neurons do not grow back. Once you’ve acquired a disorder, it doesn’t go away even if you become healthier again. Prevention is all we have. Listen to what chronically ill people have been saying all this time.

Dean bb, I hate to say this but that could never be you even with this universe's Michael. The two of you would grate on each other so bad. You'd both be begging Samifer to kill you after a week stuck in each other's heads.

Micheal narrowed his eyes. His father looking at him with enthusiastic eyes. He wasn't sure what to say. Why was his fa-.....chuck even here? Why would he need Micheal's help?

Chuck could see the hesitation in Micheals eyes. Which was new, he never disobeyed his father's orders.

"Hey what about that vessel huh? Uh...adam! Adam, I can bring him back yknow" he said in a luring tone.

Micheals eyes went wide. He would kill for Adam and he already hated the Winchesters..but it's not something Adam would've wanted. Chuck sighed and realized he had to pull one of his old acts. He put on a fake hurt face and looked at Micheal.

"Micheal...do you really hate me that much you won't help me?" he said.

"No...."

"I'm your father....unless you're trying to be like Lucifer now...I guess you don't love your own father anymore."

"I do I-...." he wasn't sure what to say. "I do care for you father. I just-"

"So you admit you don't care for him anymore? Is that it? And you don't care about Adam either? Yknow..since you don't wanna save him."

"Of course I do! I-..." Micheal couldn't keep track of what was happening. He often felt this way when he spoke to his father. It felt like he had no control on what was happening an would always been confused.

"Soo..you'll help me" chuck said as more of a statement then a question. Micheal was clearly lost and hurting. Hurting a lot. Chuck could see that. He could see Micheal thinking and even though he was hurting he was still smart.

"Cmon buddy....i love you, you're my son! Don't you love me? Don't you love Adam?"

Micheal had that look in his eye that usually meant he was giving in. Naturally chuck took advantage of this just like he always did when Micheal was a child. Micheal was clearly distressed. Chuck couldn't care less though. Hr threw his arm around Micheals shoulder which cause Micheal to ever so slightly flinch.

"C'mon we have much planning to do honey" chuck said. As he walked out the room, knowimg Micheal would follow him. And he did. He had to do this for Adam. He had to. He found a new purpose other than to serve his people in heaven. Now he had to serve and portect his human. And he would.

"It was crazy, snow everywhere..." Adam had been telling one of his stories again. Micheal loved his stories. Adam didn't have a fantastic memory unless it came to stories about his childhood and his mother. He hadn't remembered that he'd told his story already four times. But Micheal didn't care and didn't tell him. He loved this story.

He had been listening intently until he sensed something and immediately tensed up and his expression turned dark and cold.

"And-" Adam paused, noticing how Micheal tensed. "What is it?" he asked. Micheal didn't answer but instead took over Adams body. He felt something that he felt like he couldn't stop. He inverted into the mind scape as well and wrapped his grace around Adam tight. Suffocatingly tight.

"Hey what's going on?!"

No response. Micheal was too busy trying to hold onto Adam and protect him from whatever was coming. Then there was a light rumbling. He tightened his grace.

Adam don't move at all.

Adam obliged blindly. He trusted that Micheal wouldn't let anything happen to him. He knew it. Then..micheal heard something he never wanted to hear. Screaming. Adams screaming.

Then it was silent. But something was wrong. Something was so wrong. The vessel felt empty..

Adam?

....

Adam.

......

Adam was gone. Micheal was alone in the vessel. He felt so. Gross. It took a second for the initial shock to settle in. And then it finally did. Micheal truly did want to cry but something told him he couldn't. He never could. He wasn't allowed. It wasn't written for his character.

He sat down and stared off into nothing. Feeling empty and alone. Not hearing Adams voice. He felt mad but at himself. He still felt mad at whoever did this but it's mostly his fault. Or at least that's what he told himself. He told himself it was his fault he didn't protect Adam better.

I wish you would've finished that story.

I somehow ended up a very weird side of anti Hazbin Hotel TikTok. It’s not people criticizing the show for swearing every 2 minutes, or people hating Vivzie, or even normal Christian protests.

People are posting depictions of the actual Archangel Michael and invoking his name to slaughter the Hazbin Hotel.

i make multiple drafts a day talking about midam because i need to talk about them, but if i went up to any of the people i know and said something like-

"the archangel michael spent 10 years in a cage in hell (but it was actually like 1200 years mentally) with some college kid from minnesota named adam and he ended up falling in love with that guy from minnesota named adam and then chose minnesota adam over heaven itself and thats actually like, really important to his development and growth as a character because he's never done anything out of his own free will and he, at one point, said that he believed free will was just a coping mechanism humans made up to comfort themselves but surprise, he fell in love with that minnesota guy named adam all on his own and suddenly he no longer wanted to run heaven like his father told him to do, all he wants now is to watch his crush (adam from minnesota) eat unhealthy food and have a cozy human life with him where they have a job and work for their living but then poor sweet minnesotian adam is killed by michael's father and it's the most tragic love story ive ever heard"

As a Midam shipper, I’ve had *thoughts* about this man.

Saw someone on Reddit asking why Adam is leading Heaven’s army and not Michael the Archangel (who has yet to be confirmed to even exist in Hazbin). It took everything for me not to joke that it’s because they’re gay married and run it together.

Then again, idk if I want the Dick Master associated with one of my favorite characters.

Breaking News: Tumblr somehow shocked by the fact that Adam looks like... Adam.

Yes, the mask-off reveal did hit me like a punch in the gut, but only because I wasn't EXPECTING to *ACTUALLY SEE VIVZIEPOP-ANIMATED ADAM UNDER THERE*. That, once again, was a headcanon I had AS A *JOKE*.

Like my brain saw "Adam, but an Archangel, strong aura of 80s rock music", and autofilled what he would look like under that mask.

I was so deeply unprepared for that initial assumption to be correct.

and now he might be in Hell again. and that's HILARIOUS.

I’m sorry, why exactly would he want that? What makes you think that would have been a good ending?

He gets a season to go hunting with two men he met once who left him in Hell. The two men who kept dodging an apology and then got his boyfriend killed. The two sons of the father he hates who are in the same profession that got his mother killed. You want a whole season of that?

I understand why parts of the general fandom aren’t exactly going to advocate for the Midam ending. But let the man finish college and live a normal life at least!

Just look at the first couple lyrics, and you’ll see why it’s so Midam coded.

For context, it’s from Princess Luna’s perspective and in mlp she is sent to the moon for a thousand years by her older sister Celestia. Usually her songs are pretty Lucifer coded, since she is basically treated as Equestria’s (pony land) version of Satan. However, for this one in particular, the lyrics match Adam and Michael so closely it’s not even funny.

They spent 1000 years waiting for either the Winchesters or God to save them. They both thought their family would save them, but then days turned into years and into centuries, and their patience had to fade.

"So you're gonna stay with that douche?" dean would say having his arms crossed staring straight at Adam. Sam had been sitting next to Adam silently.

"Yeah I am." Adam would defend himself. "Adam- he's dangerous you realize that right?! An archangel." dean would yell. Adam would scoff and roll his eyes. "He's not dangerous to me. He's never done anything to hurt me and he wouldn't."

"Oh so what you think you're special?"

"Yeah! Because he makes me feel that way! I've never felt special in my entire life and Micheal's good."

"No. Why do you even care? You didn't care this much when I was trapped in hell did you?"

"It is in his nature. Ever hear nature vs nurture?! Nature will always win. It's in his nature to be violent and cruel and heartless-"

Adam would get upset and immediately defend Micheal like "what about you huh? You're basically the same way! Because you never got nurture so you only got the nature!" then it would go quiet, Adam would get up and leave, and then Sam would try to talk to dean but the night would end up leaving Sam alone, Dean drunk, and Adam happy with Micheal.

In my defense, this was third time just this month someone made a similar post. Plus, all the comments are engaging with it as if it’s real. They also all support it’s apparently very good take.

I had a whole post written up for here about how you can view Dean as straight, but don’t call other fans bizarre when they disagree.
