Genuinely wish we could go back to that time in fandom where creators and fandoms just left each other alone. Please. For the love of god.

I’m sick of people demanding constant answers and information from creators about things that don’t need answers or further information. I’m sick of people using fucking Word of God tweets in their shitty fandom discourse as an excuse to call someone a sexual predator. I’m sick of creators going onto fandom posts and basically telling fans that they’re wrong for interpreting/interacting with content in a certain way. I’m sick of creators giving any opinions on fandom ships at all.

I’m just tired of it. I’m done. We need those boundaries back.

I feel like Sam and I end up mentioning things in passing. Like, “Do you want to go do this?” or “Do you want to do this?” and the other person is like, “Yeah!” There are so many crossovers. You wouldn’t expect it. Because we grew up in very different ways in very different countries but we have, sort of, crossovers of weird things or niche things that we never discussed up until the point of promoting the show.
