One of the most respected acting teachers in the United States, Ed Hooks is a pioneer of acting training specifically for animators.  As an actor, he was a theatre professional for three decades and appeared in over 100 television programs and films.
In July 2013, Ed Hooks came to Shanghai with DeTao to give his world famous ‘Acting for Animator master class’ at two of the world’s biggest game studios - Electronic Arts and Ubisoft.
The workshop is designed specifically for animators, not stage actors. The difference is that stage actors practice their art “in the present moment”. Therefore, stage actors require training that includes sensory exercises, emotional recall, relaxation, voice and so on. Animators do not need any of that because they work with an illusion of a present moment, i.e. 24-frames-make-a-second.

Considering the importance of critical thinking and public speaking, especially on the topic of "Tax". Mr. Alan Jones hosted a experimental class for SIVA-DETAO Advance Class under the topic of "is taxation necessary?". None of the students were familiar with the topic, but the idea was to allow students to broaden up their mind and to think independently from many perspective. This is what we're hoping for.
