After all, the lamb has many people praising it, I guess Narinder doesn't want them to steal his attention. 🤔

At the moment he doesn't know how he actually feels about the lamb. It is a very confusing mix of feelings that varies between a certain feeling of resentment, surrender, and an unconscious emotional dependence, among other things (taking into account that he lost everything after being overthrown by the Lamb themselves).

... "Jelausy" would be an understatement, in the face of the internal fear of being, or feeling alone. He would certainly be internally upset if he himself became less important to the lamb.

🫀 More Blood of the Lamb AU 🫀

The first two doodles are how I see Ovidius (Lamb) communicating with Narinder when needed. Ovidius flips between speaking to Narinder through a bowl of their blood (they can see and hear each other this way) and speaking to him while their blood is stored in it's proper bottle (they can only hear eachother this way). On top of this, I can easily see Ovidius ignoring Narinder when they get angry with each other. Ovidius would simply need to put the cork back on the bottle, silencing the feline's voice inside.

A small detail I've added to Ovidius' design is the false eyes on the back of their ears. I took inspiration from mainly tigers and moths.

The third is just a silly doodle of Baal checking out the portal Ovidius made.

The fourth is of Narinder when he was young and mortal. He lived with his moms and helped them with growing flowers and herbs for burials, funerals, and rituals. They also maintained/guarded temples. I'm still working on his backstory and how he became a Bishop.

The last doodle is two of the younger sheep in the Final Flock. Paco and Pala are twin siblings who help with cooking and handing out rations to the rest of the flock. In total, there are about 100 sheep in the Final Flock. Most are teens and adults who handle the bulk of the work. Children usually do what the twins do, help with simple chores, and pass out food/supplies. The elders usually help Ovidius by advising them as a sort of council.

Paco has a scar that tears through his lip, while Pala has a torn ear and missing left eye.

I'm having a lot of fun with finally being able to yap about my au, I hope you guys enjoy what I have so far! I'm thinking of opening my asks for some questions about this au, no clue when I'm gonna do that tho.

Rest in peace River Boy. Thank you so much for all the love you put into your projects, both with and outside Cult of the Lamb. Your music is one of the biggest reasons I love CotL: I couldn’t stop listening to “Praise the Lamb” for days after I first played the game.
