I'm on my knees begging for a headcanon with Dante, Vergil and V having someone secretly crushing on them HARD. Leaving gifts for Dante, spicy notes like "I want you", "you should be arrested for being so beautiful" etc.

Dante:

He probably figures out it's you pretty quickly but his reaction would likely be... discouraging at best. Unless you happen to be very persistent.

Not to say that he doesn't feel the same way about you or that he doesn't appreciate it but he's likely to ignore it, at first anyway. He doesn't think himself deserving of such things, nor does he think you deserve to doom yourself to a life with him, thus why he thinks it's best to ignore you.

Buuuuuuut, he won't ignore it forever. He'll eventually start taking them in the shop with him and opening them, smiling to himself as he reads your notes. Do you really find him to be beautiful? Sure, he's heard it before but it means more coming from you.

Once you've broken him down a bit, he might start leaving notes for you here and there. Of course, they're either entirely cheesy or vulgar but they're from the heart. There's always at least a small sense of tenderness in them. 

He'll confront you eventually. It takes ages but he does it. He's as annoying as ever but you can tell his appreciation is genuine even if he's teasing you within an inch your life, poking at you and repeating all of the letters you wrote for him in an attempt to fluster you.

Vergil:

Also likely to ignore it and finds it annoying at first. Though this feeling lessens a bit once he's figured out the sender. So he’ll start taking them and opening them eventually. 

Always makes sure he's in private because as much as he tries to keep his composure, he can't stop the very faint blush that comes when he reads the notes you left. Kindness is something that has been lacking in his life for a long time so he finds your compliments to be a bit overwhelming. Not that they're unappreciated by any means.

He tries his best to stash away the things that you leave for him, leaving any notes you give him in a small box that he occasionally will open and reread some things you wrote.

He has a hard time confronting you about it but he will eventually. He's awkward at best but he thanks you. I don't personally think he'd give you much, if anything, in return until he's more comfortable with you. But I do think he'd write you poems eventually (which are incredibly heartfelt) or simply recite ones that remind him of you.

The DMC boys with an injured S/O

fem!reader for this one!

Dante:

it all happened so fast.

one minute, you’re fighting with him, back to back against the horde of demons that had gotten the jump on you two

the next minute you’re screaming as the scythe of a Hell Caina tears through your abdomen, the smell of your blood permiating the humid air

Dante’s eyes snap in your direction, just in time to see you crumble to your knees, grasping desperately at your stomach to stop the bleeding.

His heart stops for a moment, his entire world crumbling around him with the thought of losing you in the forefront of his mind.

His eyes flash red, his body becoming engulfed in a fury of scales and demonic fire. You had never seen his Demonic Side so angry, so feral.

he lets out a guttural roar and within seconds the remaining demons bodies hit the ground with hollow thuds, their remains evaporating into the air around you and he’s kneeling by your side, pulling you gently into his arms, covered in demon blood and absolutely terrified.

bloodthirsty devilman is replaced with terrified best friend within seconds and hes grovelling, pawing at your hands to get you to move them so he can see how bad your injury is.

“cmon, please sweet girl, you gotta move your hands for me so i can help, please baby” hes practically begging you, the fear evident on his features while he stares down at your face, contorted in pain and terror.

you move your hands slowly away from your injury, revealing the torn bloodied skin to Dante. he cant help the choked whimper that escapes him at the sight of your broken, gnarled skin.

your vision starts to fail you so you weakly try to reach out to him but it only ends up in your hand gently brushing against his arm to get his attention.

panic really begins to set in now, once he’s realized youre beginning to fade from bloodloss. you try to talk but all that comes out is a hoarse cough before you cringe at the pain it created in your abdomen. “D-fuck,, Dante, look at me-“ you plead, trying to get him to keep his eyes on your face rather than your injury.

his ears are ringing with adrenaline, his hands keeping a steady pressure on the gushing wound as he struggles to keep his eyes in line with your own. “Dante honey, it’s gonn-a be okay i pr-promise,,” you choke out, blood sputtering from your lips as you speak.

tears begin to well up in his eyes and he starts shaking his head frantically, “NO, no y/n you stay with me please, please you cant leave me here- I have so much left to tell you please sweetheart, stay” his head falls to your chest, his sobs catching in the fabric of your t-shirt as your vision fades out completely, followed by your consciousness.

you wake with a jolt, forcing your body upward into a sitting position before even opening your eyes. a searing pain tears through you and you yelp, falling back onto the,, bed you were laying on??? wait hold on how did you get here??? are you dead??

you crack your eyes open and observe the room around you, posters of half naked women hung off the walls and a pile of dirty laundry sat in the corner. a small TV was on quietly on the dresser directly across from the bed playing some shitty sitcom.

suddenly you hear someone rushing up the stairs in the hallway outside of the room, their steps frantic and fast.

Dante rushes in the door and is immediately at your side, helping you get comfortable again, “Woah there, take it easy y/n. you got pretty banged up out there, lets try not to make it any worse okay?” he says it with a joking smile but you can see how strained it is, like hes actively trying to hold himself together.

you smile up at him softly just trying to cheer him up a little. you hated seeing him so stressed out, so scared. you wanted to see him laugh again and make some dumbass comment that would make you laugh too. a soft sigh leaves you before you look down, “im sorry i went and got hurt, i wasnt paying enough attention and it caught me off guard, i really didnt mean t-“ you’re cut off by slightly chapped lips pressing against your own with a fervour you didn’t know was possible

“please don’t apologize, none of this is your fault, angel. i’m just happy you’re okay-“ his voice catches in his throat before he clears it quickly, “i don’t know what i’d have done if i lost you.”

you gesture from him to crawl in to bed with you and he obliges happily, being mindful of where your bandages were as he gently slid his arms around your torso to hold you, burying his face in your neck and sighing happily.

Nero:

you didn’t feel it at first, so you really couldnt understand why Nero was looking at you like that

you were just out on a walk with your best friend Nero, trying to convince him to come with you to a movie later that night that you’d been dying to see, when a few seconds later a chilling silence had fallen on the two of you as you both watched droplets of blood begin to fall and hit the ground.

you didnt really register that it was your own until your legs started to become weak beneath you and Nero’s eyes widened.

a pair of death scissors hung above you, the haunting masked entity daring to swing at you again now that you were injured. you braced yourself in preparation for the worst, raising your arms feebly above your head before a shot rang out that made your ears ring and the scissors drop right next to your head.

all that remained of the entity was its ugly mask that fell and clattered next to your feet as you struggled to stand. Nero was at your side in an instant insisting for you to sit down.

you shushed him, trying to wave him off as he reached out to move your shirt to see the wound better, “Nero I’m fine, see? it’s not even that bad!” you gestured to the literal gash in your side and he visibly cringed at the sight. okay so maybe it was kinda bad

he gently scooped you up and took off as fast as he could to get you some help, apologizing after every whimper and noise of discomfort you made.

he stumbled into Nico’s van absolutely frantic, yelling for anyone to come help you as he laid you down on the couch and kept his hands on the wound, keeping a steady pressure on it despite the amount of blood that was on his hands.

a few hours later and you’re bandaged up, snuggled in close to Nero’s chest on the couch of Nico’s van while she fixes his newest Devil Breaker up for him, one specifically for when things go wrong with a tiny first aid kit built into the side of it.

he looks down at you and smiles softly before leaning down to brush his lips across your forehead, “i’m so happy you’re okay, dont know what i’d do without my pretty girl” he whispered it so quietly you could barely hear it, but nonetheless it made you smile and tuck your face into the crook of his neck to hide your blush.

V:

V wasn’t really the type to show too much emotion, he was sarcastic yea but he never really let on to feeling much else

so the fact that he had warmed up so much to you was very out of character

you two were paired up by Dante (trying to play matchmaker) to go take out a group of lesser demons just on the outskirts of town and V hadn’t stopped talking to you since you’d left Devil May Cry

not that you minded, the sound of his voice was so relaxing

“Personally, I find Blake’s writing to be more of a window to the inner workings of the soul and mind, rather than the ramblings of a madman like some say. there is reason to his madness that i cant quite put into words-“ he had been rambling about his poetry for about an hour by the time you had reached where the demons were supposed to be

only one problem

they weren’t there

you and V stood in the decrepit alleyway, sharing equally confused looks with each other before shrugging and turning back around to head home

just as you two turned around and you were taking your first steps to leave the alley, a giant weight fell on you from above, pinning you to the ground and causing you to scream in pain. you swore you felt something snap

V whips around immediately, summoning Shadow and Griffin to his side with the flick of his arm and is met with the sight of you pinned to the ground, trying to hold back tears as a giant Riot perched itself atop your body, it’s claws digging into your skin as it held your face to the concrete

“Jesus christ sweet cheeks! Looks like you got yaself in quite the predicament, yknow you could’ve just asked for me if you wanted to see me that bad!” Griffin squawks, but is quickly silenced by the scathing glare that V shoots up at him.

V quickly forces Shadow into action, the inky cat clawing and biting at the Riots face, causing it to lose its balance and fall off of you, giving you a chance to escape

you crawl away from the demon as fast as your body will allow you, crying out at the searing pain in your lower back

V rushes to your side to help you up, his hair now snow white as he’s summoned Nightmare to protect you both while he moves you away from the chaos

his normally stoic features are riddled with worry and something you cant quite read but you assume is close to anger, as he scans your body for injuries, fixating on the growing red stain on your back where the Riot’s claws had dug through your flesh

“V- hey, hey look at me” you gently reach up to grab his face, smoothing your fingers along his chiseled jawline, “i’m okay! i’m gonna be okay, tis but a flesh wound!” you joke, forcing a laugh but quickly stopping when the pain from your back makes your whole body spasm

he tucks your head under his chin as he lifts you and leans his head around the corner to check on the damage that nightmare has caused

seeing that it had dwindled the demon down just enough that he could take the last hit, he gently sat you down against the side of the building and promised he would be back, leaving a chaste kiss to your cheek before straightening and stepping slowly towards the demon, which was now cowering on the ground with it’s tail between it’s legs

as he approached it, he swung his leg back to kick it hard in the face, leaning down to look it in the eye. his eyes much darker than you had ever seen before. you had never seen V this worked up before

he raised his cane and without breaking eye contact, he plunged it down between the flailing demons eyes, “prepare your hearts for deaths cold hand.- he who makes his law a curse, by his own law shall surely die.” he spoke lowly, a growl beneath his words.

he returned you as if he had never left, wrapping you up in his inked arms before calling his familiars back to him and rushing off to find you help.

days later you were sat next to him, curled into his side as he read to you from his book of poems, enjoying the rumble of his voice against your skin as he spoke.

bandages were wrapped securely around your torso and you still weren’t in perfect shape. V had to help you walk everywhere and every night he would help you with taking your pain medication with gentle words of encouragement.

V paused his reading to look down at you, admiring the way your features looked when you were at peace. he wanted to stay like this forever, with you by his side.

curious as to why he stopped reading, you glance up at him, and he takes the opportunity to slide his hand up the side of your neck, cupping your jaw.

“if a thing loves, it is infinite. and you my dear,” he ducks his head down, his lips now barely brushing your own, “have all of my love and more.” his lips come down to fully meet your own, melting softly against you.

you sigh into the kiss, your body relaxing even further into his as he pulls away. a smile evident on your kiss swollen lips as you mumble “i am in you and you in me, mutual in divine love”

a blush formed on both of your faces as you revelled in the glow of admitting your feelings to one another

he buries his face into your hair and you swear you feel him smile as he kisses your head.

So I fell into Skyrim lately, and I have the kaidan mod installed and I just love him. But I been having this brainrot.

You know the quest involving the black books and miraak? Specifically the one you find in dwarven ruins with the dark elf.

All I can think about is y/n forcing themselves to read it, but everytime she loses and gains conscious she's more and more desperate. And kaidan is worried because she's doing this alone, and she's breaking. Until one last times she couldn't do it and cries.

I'm so tempted to write this but I need to figure out kaidan's speech patterns.

Anyway sorry about my ramblings I'm just really happy to find your blog!

Ooooo, I haven't played in a while but I think I know the quest you're talking about! Always happy to talk to abt him as well so no worries :). and i also have a hard time with his speech patterns so I feel you fsjklskf

Anyway I don't think he'd really be sure about what to do as he's a bit clueless when it comes to things in this area. He's hardly ever read a black book himself but the first time he saw you get sucked in was enough for disdain to grow. He won't stop you at first, I don't think, but he'll step in once you start growing desperate. They drive most people insane after all, so he's not about to let that happen to you and given your behavior, he's a bit worried that you're headed down that path. His job is to protect you even if it's from yourself.

You're definitely right in saying that it's hard for him. It takes him a while to get used to and even then, I don't see him ever being overly physical so there can potentially be some conflict there. He's generally unwilling to compromise when it comes to things like this (or in general lmfao).

Though that's not to say he doesn't enjoy your touch. He does quite a bit when he's in the mood for it. He finds it incredibly comforting to be able to experience touch that isn't painful -- touch that's tender and affectionate. It's therapeutic in a lot of ways for him.

He's most partial to you running your fingers through his hair as his scalp is rather sensitive.

He's stiff in reciprocating at first but he eases into it with time, and becomes more confident and a bit bold. Though he's private with his affections. This will only change if he almost lost you or if you're in incredible need of consoling.

He's more prone to little touches such as a hand on your back while you're standing together or he's passing behind you, or running his fingers up and down any exposed skin while you're sat in his lap and he's reading to you.

As for words of affirmation, he's also uncomfortable with this but generally a bit more receptive with time. Just as he's been lacking kind touch in his life, he's been lacking kind words.

But prior to your relationship, he may think you're mocking him so it's best to tread lightly until you truly get to know each other.

He's, again, stiff in reciprocating but his praise grows rather poetic fairly quickly. But, again, he's fairly private in this aspect. Though this is mostly to avoid Dante mocking him. But he can't help to be a bit more open with it.

Overall, it takes a lot of patience on your end. But slowly breaking down his walls is more than worth it.

In which you read to Dante.

I just wanted an excuse to write you sitting between his legs on the floor while he snuggles you

Dante had all but sneered at your choice of book, remarking that you've spent too much time around Vergil. You had rolled your eyes and shrugged, turning the dusty page of the ornate, leather-bound book.

He sighed. He had not kept up a hygenic routine today—inclusive of laundering his clothes!—for you to just sit on the sofa and read a stuffy book. He huffed, readjusting his stance as he stood there in front of you, arms crossed.

You looked up at him incredulously, only to be met with a boyish pout that made you laugh.

"Dante," you sighed, exasperated, but your amused smirk brought a grin to his face.

He fidgeted on his feet again and loosened his crossed arms somewhat.

He may be leagues more vocal and expressive than his twin, but that didn't mean you didn't have to squeeze his thoughts out of him. That seemed to be a Sparda family trait. You had long since grown quite attuned to what they wouldn't outright express, but it never ceased to frustrate and amuse you.

You raised a brow at him as you lowered your book. Dante responded with a quirky grin.

"What would you like to do?" You asked.

He visibly loosened, and shrugged at you, "Dunno,"

You snorted as he stepped forward, uncrossing his arms and vaguely gesturing toward the floor. You stood up and he plunked himself down, pressing his back against the couch, beckoning you to sit between his legs.

You can feel how damn near giddy he gets when you oblige. His embrace is so warm and unabashedly affectionate that you can't even pretend to be throwing him a bone with this.

"Whatcha readin' anyway?" He rests his chin on your shoulder, his long locks brushing against your neck.

"Shakespeare," you exhale. "You've caught me on a tacky one." You inform him.

"As if Shakespeare itself isn't tacky enough," Dante snorts, further planting his head on your shoulder, hand resting on your knee.

"Ah, you whoreson loggerhead! You were born to do me shame." You read aloud. "Guilty, my lord, guilty! I confess, I confess."

He rolls his eyes, bringing his other hand under your arm to clutch your shoulder as you continue reading to him. You roll his previous hand over and thoughtlessly draw shapes into his palm. He snuggles into you further in response, a small, content grin on his lips.

"Sweet lords, sweet lovers, o, let us embrace! As true we are as flesh and blood can be!" You melodramatically read to him as he groans, pressing his face into your shoulder.

He chuckles and shakes his head before returning to looking over your shoulder. "This really is somethin', huh?"

"I warned you," you snicker.

You continue nonetheless, Dante pressing the side of his head against yours, squeezing at your shoulder every now and then. He eventually captures that fiddling hand of yours and intertwines it with his. He absentmindedly rubs his thumb over yours, prompting you to bring it to your lips for a little peck.

In Vergil's stead, you covet the younger twin's well-behaved relative quiet. He gives the occasional hum, quip, or sigh, but he sits and listens cooperatively. You have to mindfully bite back verbal praise, knowing that would surely prompt him. You instead opt to lean into him and rub his thumb.

He litters you with the occasional small peck or nuzzle, and he wraps an arm around your middle at some point, pressing his face into you.

Dante would not say that he enjoyed the contents of your reading, but you both thoroughly enjoyed this little endeavor, and as he curled into your arms that night, you brainstormed what you could read to him next.

Soft Platonic and Domestic request: So Dante, Vergil, Nero and V are cuddling in bed with their partner, his head resting on their chest. How would the boys react to their partner running their fingers through their hair, in a soothing motion. ex: stroking their hair slowly and repetitively.

Dante:

Probably the most receptive to this, or at least he enjoys it the most.

Once he trusts you more, he likes to be physical (only if you're comfortable with it, of course). Maybe not as much as in a romantic relationship but he's very touched starved and it shows. So he's always down for a good cuddle sesh.

And he loooovvvvvessss having his hair played with so he's pretty much in heaven. Purrs so much you're practically vibrating yourself. Might just grab your hand and plop it on his head after the first couple of times.

Also happy to return the favor should the roles be reversed. If he can play with your hair, that is. If not, he's happy to just traces soothing patterns up and down your back.

Vergil:

You'll have to ask him first, as you would most of the time if you want to touch him. It already takes an incredible amount of trust for him to even be in such a state around you so communication is key.

He's a little iffy about it but when he allows it, he enjoys it. Maybe not as much as Dante but touch in general is hard for him since he's really only used to pain resulting from it.

You'll hear no purring from him but maybe a content hum or sigh here and there. But that's basically the same thing for him.

Not likely to return the favor unless you ask and even then, it's hit or miss.

Overall just prefers to exist in the same space as you but isn't too adverse to all of this sometimes.

Nero:

A happy medium. Maybe not particularly cuddly as he's more prone to noogying you or a playful push or smack to the shoulder here and there. Maybe even a hug if you're upset.

But if he's in such a mood, he does really enjoy when you play with his hair. He's embarrassed to admit it but won't stop you by any means, but he's unlikely to ask for it either.

He won't really do it to you (if he even can, if not then he'll rub your back) unless you're upset and need comfort. He's more prone to affectionately ruffling it but he has his softer moments.

V:

Maybe a bit more receptive than Vergil but I don't see him being all that cuddly with a friend either.

He does enjoy it when it's actually happening a bit more though. Lots of contented sighs and hums. Might also fall asleep if he trusts you enough.

Doesn't usually mind returning the favor if you're into that, and he's in the mood for cuddling. It's rather calming since he's usually reading while you lay on him. He's happy to read to you if you ask.

Might be open to summoning Shadow or something if you're in an affectionate mood and he isn't. So you have something to snuggle with and he has his space.

Chris Redfield, Jake Muller, Carlos Oliviera and Piers Nivans with a shy S/O with little to no experience in romantic relationships headcannon. Reader doesn't have much age difference with the guys. Help a thirsty bitch here.

Jake:

He's never really been in a relationship either. Anything in that realm has likely been kept brief and physical. So he's a little lost when he realizes he has feelings for you. But he's not entirely against pursuing you, it'll just take him a bit to work up the courage.

LOVES that you're shy because it's that much funnier to fuck with you, which he's constantly doing. He loves to tease you, poke at you, mess with your hair, etc etc. But it's all in good fun; he just likes to see you get worked up or flustered.

He's smug and it can seem like he's had years of experience because of his confidence but you'll see him stumble here and there. But he's quick to pick himself back up, most of the time anyway.

He does find some comfort in the fact that you've had little romantic experience. It makes him feel less like a fish out of water. But he'll tease you for this too because it's in his nature.

Dates with Jake are usually low-key and low-budget, not that he’s really in a bad way financially, he just prefers this over more extravagant things since that’s not really his scene. He isn’t much of a romantic though that’s not to say he isn’t loving, in his own way.

Jake is young but still immature for his age. Probably due to the shitstorm that has been his life, as he'd probably put it. So this does pose some issues that you'll have to figure out together but Jake is resistant in admitting the fact that he has flaws he needs to work on. 

He’s also not great in the emotional support aspect at first. It’s not that he doesn’t care, it’s just that he doesn’t really know how to comfort you. On the flip side, he has a hard time coming to you with struggles of his own since he’s used to handling things on his own. So lack of communication and emotional availability are going to be common issues early on in your relationship. 

Chris: 

He's married to the job so he honestly hasn't had too much experience in the realm of romance.

He doesn't have that big of an issue with expressing this though. He figures it's best to at least be semi-transparent about it. So he's willing to try and figure it out with you! He's honestly a little relieved that you're nearly in the same boat as him.

Since you're shy, he tries to take the lead and is pretty successful. He's kind and a gentlemen (or least, he tries to be) and probably quite traditional in this aspect so expect flowers, dinner dates -- the whole nine yards. But with time, he’ll find that he prefers to just have nice date nights at home. He likes the domesticity. 

Once settled in a relationship, it's likely that you're not going to see him often. Since, like I said, he's married to the job and likely not willing to retire any time soon. 

He has a whole plethora of issues (alcoholism at some points, betrayals, his life basically being a horror movie, etc) and this can often cause a lot of problems within your relationship that he's not quite sure how to handle it since he's had little experience so this is something that you'll, again, have to figure out together. Not that he’s asking you to fix him but your support and patience is much appreciated.

He is much better with communication than Jake is but not perfect by any means. He also struggles with coming to you for emotional support at first. But he overcomes this as he gets more comfortable with you. He’s a little more apt to get physical when you need comfort; he usually just defaults to bear hugs since he’s not always the best with words. 

Carlos:

Probably has the most experience out of the 4. Nothing too long term but enough to be confident in this aspect. So he’s happy to take the lead and help you figure things out. 

Finds your shyness rather endearing and will tease you about it as well, lovingly of course. But he does try to encourage you to come out of your shell. He’s never aggressive or pushy about it though, he’ll go at your pace.

He does encourage you to be vocal about your wants and needs if that’s something you struggle with since he’s not a mind-reader, and the absolute last thing he wants to do is overstep a boundary and/or make you uncomfortable. 

Carlos is a romantic at heart and he’s a big goof, so expect some cringe-worthy but endearing jokes and pick-up lines. Dates with him are never too extravagant since that’s not really his thing either but they’re intimate and well thought out. Most of the time anyway. He also counts ordering in and watching shitty action movies a date. 

He’s more emotionally available than the two mentioned above but he’s obviously not without his flaws. He’s been through a lot and he’s trying to work through it so your support is appreciated. He’s much more communicative as well and wants there to be a mutual support system, so he’s more inclined to be vulnerable with you and he wants you to do the same. 

Piers: 

Another one that’s married to the job. He’s never had much of a chance to really explore romantically since he’s always put most of his focus into either the military or the BSAA. He’s just never really had time for it but then he met you. So he made time. 

Piers is a little shy about this himself due to his inexperience but he tries his best to open and honest about his intentions with you. Which are, of course, nothing but the best. 

He also finds your shyness endearing and will tease you about it here and there but he isn’t too mean. But he’s also extra protective of you because of it. Like Carlos, he’ll encourage you to come out of your shell and to communicate with him if that’s something you struggle with. He’d hate to accidentally make you uncomfortable. 

Also a communication king. He’s straightforward and level-headed so there’s not much that you can’t just talk out with him. 

Piers is a little on the cheesier side, much to your surprise. But he’s a sweetheart. He’s more inclined to take you simpler dates, maybe to a more secluded restaurant or café. You’ll likely end up finding a special spot that is often the default for the two of you. Though he’ll spice it up here and there.

Dante:

A - Acceptance — How long did it take for them to accept that they were in love? What were they like after accepting it?

I think he’s fairly quick to realize it but he takes a very long time to truly accept it. He tries to push you away at first, not wanting to drag you into the mess that is his life. Not wanting to doom you to the same fate that seems to befall to everyone around him. His heart couldn’t take it if something happened to you so it’s incredibly difficult for him to open himself up to that again. He doesn’t want to get hurt again, nor does he want you to get hurt because of him. He’s also baffled by the fact that you want to be with him, want that life for yourself because of him. He tries to take it in stride once he actually accepts that he has feelings for you. But he stumbles. A lot. He’s never felt this way about anyone and his lack of self worth and anxiety poses many issues. But he’ll figure it out with time. Your patience is deeply appreciated and more than worth it. Dante will spend an eternity at your side if that’s what you wish. 

C - Confession — How did their confession go? Was it planned or was it out of the blue?

He really tries to plan something out, how extravagant his plan is, is up to your preferences. He’ll plan to keep it more lowkey if you’re not into theatrics. Hell, he might just plan a whole fireworks show if you’re just as dramatic as he is. But I don’t think he’d end up actually going according to plan and it just slips out as casually as any of his quips do. Or perhaps, at night when you’re sleeping and he doesn’t think you can hear him. Less chance for rejection that way. 

V - Vulnerable — What’s something their s/o does that makes them weak to their knees?

I don’t think this is actually all that difficult due to how little experience he has with romance, and people just being kind to him in general. Nor has he had much stability, so just knowing that he has something to come home to everyday has him pretty soft. Genuine worry about his wellbeing, listening to him talk about things he’s interested in, laughing at his jokes, complimenting him also mean a lot to him, more than he lets on. He’s also a sucker for anything physical as that is his love language. He’s a lovebug but initiating touch or seeking him out for comfort touches him as well. 

Vergil:

He’s more resistant to this than Dante is. Romance has never been something he’s really considered given how his life has gone so far. He’s only just now began to accept that human part of himself -- that part that allows him to have these feelings for you. He has a very long way to go on this journey and that part of him that’s terrified of others hurting him has not gone away, and likely won’t for some time. So he has a hard time accepting all of this -- accepting that you love him especially. But he so desperately wants to be loved, to have someone accept him for who and what he is, to have someone who doesn’t define him by his past. So to have that from you forces him to accept his feelings for you after some time. Like Dante, he stumbles a lot and it’s hard for him to adjust to but you’ll find that you have someone fiercely loyal and protective now at your side. Forever, if you’ll have him. 

C - Confession — How did their confession go? Was it planned or was it out of the blue?

You’ll probably have to the one to confess first since there’s a small part of him that doubts your feelings for him. So it’s easier for him to verbalize his feelings after he hears it from you first. He’d like to plan it out but Vergil is impulsive -- despite popular belief, so it’s likely something that slips out against his will. He also likely has awkward or inappropriate timing, and he’s scared -- terrified, really. It’s not the most eloquent confession but it’s so incredibly sincere and touching; you can’t find it within yourself to complain. 

V - Vulnerable — What’s something their s/o does that makes them weak to their knees?

I don’t think this is difficult to achieve with him either since he’s not been shown much kindness in his life. He’s been tortured for about half of it and never exactly surrounded himself with people who genuinely cared for him in his younger years. So genuine affection is nearly foreign to him and it catches him off guard. He’s also quiet and often withdrawn and with this comes a certain level of awkwardness. So he’s hesitant to really try and interact with much of the crew. So if you were to go out of your way to talk to him or try to include him, he’d seem uncomfortable and likely would be, but he appreciates it more than anything. Being kind to him and gently trying to get him out of his shell are great ways to earn his affection.

He damn near blacks out when you tell him that you’re going into labor. He knew the day was coming soon but nothing could truly prepare him. He’s overjoyed, of course, but can’t help but panic thinking about the things that could go wrong and take you away from him. 

But he quickly learns that he’s doing nothing to help by just staring dumbly at you. 

Gods help him if it’s a surprise and you’re not where you planned to be. He does his best to get you somewhere safe as quickly as he can. He cleans out an area for you, trying to make it as comfortable as he possibly can, using cloaks and towels as makeshift blankets. But he doesn’t know how to help someone give birth so he’s just in Panic Mode™. You’ll have to calm him down and walk him through it. 

If you’re at home with a healer/midwife, he’s much calmer knowing that you’re somewhere safe and surrounded by people who can properly help you. 

When your child is actually born, he’s quickly reduced to tears. He’s never been this happy. He never thought that this would be his life, that he would ever have a loving partner, let alone children. The thought of having children has always overwhelmed him, truthfully, he’s not exactly a stand up role model.  But he finds his heart has never been fuller as he holds your child in his arms for the first time. 

He’s grinning from ear to ear, pressing a finger into their palm as their little fingers wrap around his own. His tears fall freely as he looks up at you, thanking you for this gift and telling you how much he loves you.

He climbs into bed with you eventually, if feasible, and wraps you up in his arms, looking down and softly cooing at the baby you’re holding in your hands. 

Any worries he had previously about not being a good father are pushed away as he looks at the two of you. He knows that you’ll figure it out together and he’s the happiest man on Nirn knowing that you’ll both be taking this leap together.

I’m not sure if you wanted a FTM reader so I kept it general! Hope that’s okay! 

You might have to explain it all to him as he's spent most of his life in hell and likely isn't all that educated on these kinds of things. But you don't have to worry about any kind of criticism or scrutiny, he's not that kind of person. He listens with a totally open mind and thanks you for telling him. He’ll also do research of his own after you tell him. He wants to be as educated as possible so he can support you as best he can. 

"Thank you for telling me, (name). It takes great strength to go against what society expects of you. I would be... honored to support you on your journey.” 

If you're interested in hormones or surgeries, he's supportive. He'll even help you save money if you need to, he might even pitch in if he has extra funds himself. Anything you need to feel more comfortable and at home in your body.

Will absolutely not tolerate anyone misgendering you or using the incorrect name. Even if it’s accidental, you can expect him to spew some venomous insult about their intelligence and integrity. 

If he catches you doing anything that’s unsafe for your body, he’ll gently chide you, offering safer alternatives. 

Overall, he’s incredibly supportive and proud of you. He knows transitioning isn’t always an easy journey and he applauds you for going on this journey to be yourself.

- Vergil is easily annoyed, a fact everyone in the crew knows and likes to exploit (mostly Dante). He’s an impatient and emotionally constipated man with a low tolerance for bullshit and socialization in general. So he’ll find you a little irritating at first if you’re insistent on interacting with him. Like I’ve said before, getting close to Vergil requires having some semblance of strength, so if that strength of yours is just being willing to put up with his bullshit, you’ll get through to him eventually. 

- Once in a relationship, he may even become fond of your outgoingness. It takes some time but he’ll come to appreciate your ability to openly socialize with people and make friends with ease. That’s not something he’s ever been able to do, though he has little desire to change that. He’ll see it as a way of you two balancing each other out. 

- His social battery gets drained rather quickly so he’s likely to leave without a word while you talk/hang out with people. He doesn’t mean to be rude but he also doesn’t want to interrupt you. He needs a lot of alone time and that’s something he needs you to respect. 

- If you’re friends with Dante or Nico, he finds he has a perpetual tension headache but will put up with them a little longer only because of the smile on your face and the way your eyes light up while you laugh at something dumb one of them said.
