Sitting in a hammock on that mountaintop watching the fire dance in the early spring wind

When loving her Was my greatest sin I couldn’t root her out of me Fell into her rabbit hole And Out of touch with reality I needed the people around me that doubted me Because they motivated the doubt out of me That would’ve stayed within. Found my way off the ledge of that balcony attempting to back away from the alchemy Tapped into my inner strength Gave myself the love I needed That I could never take from fake friends Amazing how I had lost so much That I became so afraid to win The darkness is always luring me Harvesting my insecurities It’s no surprise that through my hardest times I became a slave to them. … and I’m not afraid to fight My hands hold the light And are guided by Gods grace My life saved when tapped out Trapped in a trap house between cops and a hard place Dark space A warrior in a garden Heart safe behind the gates protected by the hardened scars on our face From the hard hits Of living thru our fate And As ironic as it sounds I had to fight hard For my peace Dressed in sheep’s clothes in a world full of wolves that gotta eat You have to be real to have real So I can’t pardon the fake Heart in a guarded state Because while watering her flowers I got bit in her garden by the largest snakes And the venom ran thru my veins And took me to the darkest places Gave the right parts To the wrong people So I started starving the evil So I could learn to love the parts of me that I used to martyr to hate Quit eating the lies you feed you The people that broke you cannot heal you Life has been fucking hard I’ve tried everything but can’t seem to find the real you Something else draining my health I have to learn how to feel through as I search for a healthier way to deal With these concealed wounds - Devine Theory @everyone
