Hollow Embers

In the void’s cold, endless grasp,

My heart clings to hollowed clasp.

Soul aches for what remains unseen,

A love long lost in distant dream.

Hopelessness wraps tight and cold,

Yet still, love’s ghost I dare to hold.

Drowning in thoughts I fear to show,

How much longer must this thirst grow?

Yearning for the touch I miss,

Craving a taste of timeless bliss.

Wishing on stars that burn too far—

For a bond that leaves a lasting scar.

Clinging to the wounds of yore,

Afraid to trust, afraid of more.

Yet deep within, a fire ignites—

For love to mend these shattered nights.

Autumn's Hue

Autumn was quietly creeping down,  

Tumbling and turning,  

Wilting and waning.  

I was a leaf in the breeze,

Surrendering to you.  

All these question marks  

In my mind  

Yearned for a period of peace.  

The leaves drifted down,  

Parched, pale, and lifelessly lean.  

The barren trees mirrored my soul,  

A landscape of eternal irony,  

Craving the kiss of spring  

To blossom anew.
