when him and his s/o met , he pulled his usual stunts as usual …. only to find they didn’t have the same effect ! Either they were taken to literally or not taken seriously at all! Imagine Laito being infuriated but he carnt even put his finger on what exactly is going wrong here - because he’s never experienced it before .

Laito changes tactics into mind games , only to find they don’t work as his s/o sees in VERY black and white and in an almost transactional way. In some ways Laito appreciates the bluntness , however it’s knocks him off his feet abit as now it feels as though you’ve seen right through his glasslike persona . He feels like he can trust what you say without having to fully double take .

Laito would use this behaviour like a study ( if that makes sense 😭) , seeing what sets you off , finding most responses funny example :

Laito : * threats of torture *

s/o : sure as long as I’m not being tickled or I have to touch any rough surfaces or any food touching or I have to listen to you rubbing paper together. Then yes you are a vampire after all 😁

On the other hand , things that were perfectly fine with other brides …. don’t slide with you .

Laito quickly figures his s/o doesn’t like physical affection as the next person , and when they do it’s under specific times , under specific circumstances. This is another first for him , but in his head he sees how he is the only one who is ‘chosen’ to be in your safe space ( sort of makes him fuzzy inside , comprable of the feeling to being chosen by a cat )

When you get overstimulated ( and not in the good way ) Laito is extremely perceptive and pulls you out of the situation with his usual flurry of jokes - hiding his genuine worry again

As for hyperfixtations , imagine Laito seeing you strare at ( idk hyperfixtations vary but I really fucking love viruses ) microscopes and you say that you like them , listing off literally everything you know in explicit detail ect . Then he asks you a really simple question - of something you aren’t interested in - “ uhhh idk”

To Laito your behaviour is unpredictable and a little strange but non the less it’s something new to him , it makes him uneasy to a degree , however he enjoys your cute moments and being used as an ‘ safe space ‘ or ‘ chosen person ‘

Hot take but any diaboy x diaboy ship are ass✌️

why ? 2 reasons

First being that ALL ( yes all ) the diaboys are connected ( as in FAMILY ) in some way. Eg. The mukamis would be the sakamakis stepsiblings. Although its never explicitly said Karl adopted the mukamis, he took them out of the orphanage, turned the into vampires and they live in one of his houses and receive a monthly allowance from him . The Tsukinamis are the triplets biological cousins. While the family tree is complicated it’s pretty obvious their interactions are that of siblings .

Second onto the interactions and dynamics. God they are boring and so dry , I could get more friction rubbing two damp blunt sticks together also some of them legit kill eachother / torture each other ( yawn).The two most common I’ve seen are yumma x shu and Kou x Subaru . Apart from the fact that they are stepbrothers ,part of their route ( for both Subaru and shu ) is the motif of self isolation and loneliness ( eg. Like she’s self isolation) the WHOLE point of some of their character arcs ( as in different games) is the self reflection that yui forces them to do . Thanks to yui at the end they can get along and have brotherly interactions which is sweet .

Point being there is just so much better yaoi out there , like just because there is a hole, there doesn’t have to be a goal!!! 

Hm: the whole fact they are family is what icks me out. Just because it’s two men , it’s ok? Would you ship me and my stepbrother together?

When they have a loved one , you’ll be sleeping next to them and wake up to the literally sniffing to ( like how cats and dogs sniff ) . I think they’d do this as a loving gesture and sort of to check where there partner has been ect

they get clingier in the daytime( when they are about to go to sleep) if anyone has a cat - cats sort of only sleep infront of you if they really trust you . Imagine the same thing but like the diaboy likes holding his partner close to them ( so he can feel if she moves / when she’s asleep )

they like holding their partner and just listening to their heart beat ( I imagine they could probably feel blood flow too )

they all have ( to some degree ) a breeding kink and a heat period. For a species that lives for so long ( like tortoises) they have a set time to reproduce

since I positively adore your in-canon takes on the diaboys OWO, here's (hopefully) an interesting scenario that won't stop itching my cranium: how would they--namely the suckamakis, other than the purple gremlin lul--react to a bride who is not perturbed by their usual attempts of being cruel to their pizza bride (e.g., by being verbally derogatory, embarrassing/humiliating her emotionally or sexually, physically punishing her, pushing her away)? not because she thinks she is better than them or even because at first she loves them (though she may come to do so later) or fully understands why they are the way they are, but because she accepts them as they are--in all vicissitudes--from the start and doesn't feel she deserves any better

This is such a funny request . First things first we know that karl obtains brides through an agreement with the church , the church does this because it believes it’s protecting humanity ( aka. By not having random vampire attacks , even though that happens it just gets covered up ..) 

So imagine for the last 200 years the boys have been getting the same kind of stereotypical outgoing , church girl … then bam ! They get hit with literally anybody else - who is more of a semi average individual. They just don’t gaf, like oh you’re a vampire ….? Well obviously you need blood then ..

I’ve never seen anyone talk about how fucking annoying he is in the games , I’m not joking he generally does the most random shit just to get a reaction ( like that fuckass tart in vandead carnival) there’s always a time and place for this freak 

When you first come into the mansion, he finds your obedience hilarious , but quickly gets bored and tries to gauge a reaction 

Laito is pretty perceptive, he realises it’s not obedience , but rather a sort of understanding. A understanding that you aren’t getting out of here , but you could at least try make it as easy for yourself as possible.

Best believe this guy makes it his mission to have you screaming , crying and everything in between.

He’s getting frustrated now because no matter what he does, it’s like you always win in the end . He’s never had this before . Not ever . 

Touching you doesn’t get a reaction . Neither does torture , or biting , or name calling . So naturally he comes to a conclusion that you must have a very strange kink that he’s never seen before .

First , the avoidance is mutual - hell he could even label you as one of the smart ones . 

However you learn quick that without a designated vampire , they all start ganging up on you -and one Subaru is way better than being hit by 5 other cars

It starts off like a transaction - you let him have your blood , and in return you just chill in his general area

He has no idea how on earth you’re so comfortable with such a freak hanging around you , even if you’re quiet most of the time when you do try to strike up something of a conversation he’d just blank stare into your eyes 

Eventually it gets to a point where he enjoys your refreshing company ☺️
