Almost finished the shirt that I'm gonna wear on my birthday next week. I found this fabric with C-3PO and R2D2 a few days ago and shouted "I NEED IT". Buttonholes and buttons left. 🩵🤖

New vintage baby made in Japan. I'm guessing from the 70s since I can't find a specific year of manufacture online. It works smoothly and is easier to use than I thought 🥰

I've been really busy this week but I wanted to show a WIP of my second sewing project. I took this picture days ago and the shirt is actually finished but I think it looks like a doctor's scrub lol.

Peaches In The Meadow 🐈🌸🍑💐🍃

This piece is a commission I had the pleasure of working on recently for @skelly-bean !💕 It’s an illustration of their cat, Peaches, amongst flowers ☺️ I really really enjoyed the entire process of creating it and also taking skelly-bean along for the journey by showing the progress and results of each step 🧡

This is what the shirt from my previous post looks like in action, after I finally sewed in the buttons. Definitely a learning experience that I will keep doing in the future. ^^

I accomplished my first sewing project two days ago, which is something I always wanted to do since about 20 years ago. I chose my favorite piece of clothing for doing so, a button down shirt with short sleeves.

I'm sort of excited about this because I find really boring to buy clothes but when it comes to making them, I have a blast. So from now on, I will be making my own clothes for the most part and they will be one of a kind pieces, which I find exciting as well.

Maybe I will make outfit posts in the future, keep posted.

I wanted to post this yesterday but I was busy with another project. Anyway, this is a commission made for @usagibylulavalencia. Can you guess who they are?

Also, this illustration made a milestone in my work, because for the first time, I could clearly see what my personal style is turning into. They say style is a consequence and I'm really happy with it.

So, I was on TV today. They featured my cat series instead of my regular work, but I'm really grateful regardless 🥰📺

Funny story, I promise it’s worth the read

- Husband has been bald for a few years now. He doesn’t like it though.

- Last Wednesday, he was looking for something in a cabinet and found a wig that he had forgotten that he had.

- For the shits and giggles, he puts it on. When looking in the mirror, he gets convinced that the wig looks natural, there’s no way to talk him out of it.

- I tell him that the color matches his beard. However, the style is super outdated. He is also convinced that he looks like George Michael (whom I never found handsome or cute).

- I decide to just go with it and let him be. I even start to be supportive.

- A couple of hours later, we both head to the grocery store. He still has the wig on. He says he will let people judge.

- Once in the grocery store, we go separate ways to save time. Half an hour later, we meet in the register only to notice that he is not wearing the wig anymore.

- I ask “What happened to your hair?”, to which he replies “I had to shave it all”.

- I ask “Why?”, and his answer is “I got stared at” (insert meme of puppet with suspicious eyes in here).

- After shrugging it off, I also notice that the wig is nowhere to be seen. I proceed to ask about it and still more suspiciously, he says “Don’t worry, it’s all taken care of”.

- “What do you mean?”, I ask... “You didn’t toss it to the garbage, did you?”

- He then grabs my hand and stealthily puts it on his crotch, which felt fluffier than usual.

- After processing the whole situation for a split second, I cannot hold it and start ROARING in laughter. Other customers are weirded out at me. Husband is giggling as well.

- Husband pulls his pants down a bit and says “Wanna see my beaver?”

- I shout “Not here!!!”

- Husband says “I bet you didn’t expect your husband to be this crazy, huh?”

- We head home and once there, he unzips his pants and slides the wig out.

 - I’m left wondering what did I get myself into.
