I watched The Beginning and I am absolutely loving the Kenyako moments! I couldn't help but notice how Miyako calls him Ichijouji-kun now when in the original series she called him Ken-kun. Maybe because she started liking him or something? Anyways, the moments are a nod to their future marriage, and I'm here for it!

Adult Hikari headcanons

- She decorates her classroom with a certain theme every year

- She’s the resident photographer. Whenever the chosen children need pictures taken, she’s your girl. She’s taken pictures of everyone’s weddings, baby photos, and plans to take graduation pictures of all the kids when they grow up

- On vacation, she makes sure to take tons of pictures

- She’s had all of her friends come in and talk to the students about their jobs. Whenever a guy presents, the kids ask if he’s her boyfriend. It was especially awkward when Daisuke came to show the kids how he makes ramen, but he just laughed and said that he had the biggest crush on her when they were younger. Hikari was drinking her coffee and it startled her so much she spit it out and burned herself! (She’s learned not to do that when visitors come, in case the kids ask weird questions)

- Tailmon plays with the kids and helps Hikari in the classroom
