well originally i watched these movies when i was like. a seven year old boy with the brain the size of an acorn. so i didn’t think much of it then i actually don’t even know if that meant anything to me at that point. but during my rewatch in 2024, mildly prompted by my dear vance celiestyr, i think he told me like “she has pronouns. trust me she has like crazy pronouns” (he did not say it like this i think it was definitely more like “she’s a boy by the way because i’m will turner and i said so”) and i was like… okay… whatever you say… and then she started crossdressing in dead man’s chest and i was like yeah i get it. oh i get it alright. and then when i watched at world’s end and she became the pirate king and did NOT change the obvious gendered term in that title that really solidified that headcanon for me. obviously. dated proof from my live react in 2024 where as soon as she did this i started calling her the pronoun king and then have not stopped since a year later
