like cmon guys, this guy got his dad to install a fun escape slide through peer pressure at age 5. he gets kidnapped like 3 times in the span of a week and just rolls with it. he refused to go to his little brother's birthday party for no other reason than to just be petty. he gave him a gun for funsies. I found an interesting detail about the symbolism of weapons. As you know, in the world of FF7, the characters' weapons have a great meaning and symbolism, like Sephiroth's Masamune or Cloud's Buster Sword. So.

Weiss wields a pair of lever-action sword revolvers. Identified by the emblems on their hilts: Heaven (天, Ame?) on the one carried in his right hand, and Earth (地, Tsuchi?) on the one carried in his left.

The weapons' name has the symbolism of Yin-Yang and the colors meaning, accordingly. Heaven = air - means white, this is Weiss. Earth - black, is Nero. So, Weiss wields pair of swords, which have the symbolism, meaning the connection between Nero and Weiss, as a pair of brothers, inseparable. This is similar to Nero's weapons as Arachnero and Phalanx, where Phalanxpheres are crystals of light, act as shields and as a symbol of Weiss. According to Greek Mythology, Arachne and Phalanx were a pair of siblings punished for incest.

I'm gonna say it.

I love how expressive his eyes are. You can see when his mood changes, when he gets unhinged, when he's gleefull, when he's angry, when he's having fun hunting.

It was so freaking amazing to see it when playing Intermission, I was just sitting there like: "Oh... Oh wow. He's freaky." And just being taken aback by how much was portrayed by so little.

Outside of fan things, this was my first introduction to Nero, and it's safe to say, I now know why people like him.
