Uncle Grandpa made Spinel as a gift for Pink.

Years later Mr. Gus learned of Pink's assassination through the RV internet. Uncle Grandpa was distraught at the news: consumed with worry that something had happened to Spinel. He loved her as not just a niece granddaughter, but as his own child. He promptly made a list of anyone who might know her fate.

Eventually he found Steven, but he found no word of Spinel in Beach City. Pearl's mouth was shut, and nobody else remembered her. Ever selfless, Uncle Grandpa spent the day with Steven, imparting his wisdom, but the search never left his mind. In his time Uncle Grandpa left to continue his journey.

He never knew how close he was.

This may seem so weird to bring up but; 2 years ago today, a batch of Uncle Grandpa episodes were released on CN’s website and it was one of the greatest days of my life. Considering an episode that would become my favorite was apart of that batch. I’m still having a hard time coping with the cancellation of Uncle Grandpa and it’s hard to believe soon it’ll be 2 years since there was a new episode.
