He was scared. He knew about people who fell in love with the wrong person. He had seen people go through that pain, of loving the wrong person.And as you were by his side, he was scared.

Ever since Sakusa met you, he felt happier. And then, he fell in love. At first he denied it, he couldn’t love you, right? But then he realized, that he let you into his soul. He let you come close to him, and you never hesitated.

Did you also fell in love with him? Or was it only one-sided love?

He was scared about having to let go of you, after so many feelings grew inside him. He was enamored with you, and just by looking at you he felt his heart beating out of his chest. He decided that he would be willing to do anything, just to be with you.

Sakusa selfishly wanted to be your everything. He wanted to be the one to wake you up in the morning, and the one to kiss you. You had him crazy, with shortness of breath, and a racing heart.

And he wanted that feeling only for himself.

Although he was scared, he wanted to ask the question. He wanted to know if he had that love only for himself, or if he had to settle with just being friends.

After all, he was latching on to you. Never wanting to let go, without knowing if someone else could also make him feel that way. But he wanted you. He wanted his Y/n.

He hesitated a second before he talked.

His eyes on the sky and clouds, while his hand was next to yours.

“Can I ask you something?” Sakusa asked as he moved his eyes to you, just to find you looking at him. You nodded softly as you took his hand in yours, and stroked it lightly.

“Of course.”

“Do you feel we are close enough? Do you think, we are in a good state on the relationship?” Sakusa asked as he looked at you without making a face.

“I believe we are on the best moments in our lives. And yes, i think we are on a great place right n-”

“Do you believe in soulmates?” You couldn’t even finish your sentence as he asked the question.

Now he only needed to wait.

He had to wait for the electricity cursing through his body.

There was only silence, until you held his hand.

He swore he felt fireworks going off in his body, and just with that, he was sure that he didn’t fell in love with the wrong person.

walking in the middle of the day, to see the flower in bloom, kuroo definitely picks one up and puts it in your hair.

going to dancing classes, just cuz’ he wants to spend quality time with you.

kuroo met you in spring, and in every spring you guys would go to the place you met, just to talk about everything and remember one of his happiest days of his life.

AS THE WORLD ENDS

pairing; kuroo tetsuro x fem!reader

summary; as the end of the world came closer, you fell in love with kuroo tetsuro.

That day, when the government announced publicly the end of the world, your best friend Kuroo Tetsuro was by your side. You remember it perfectly, that friends marathon was interrupted by the announcement. You remember how a loud siren sounded after the announcement was finished. Kuroo’s family and yours made it to the safe place, along with some other people. That’s when it all started.

The first night in the safe place, you made a promise to him. “Let’s make it through this together, promise?” “Promise.” Your pinkies linked and you smiled softly at each other. “We’ll survive, y/n.”

The safe place was nice, and since day one, Kuroo was always by your side, watching over you. You guys made movie nights, and talked about everything and nothing, and never got fed up with each other.

You both were in the bed, looking at the ceiling, that emulated the sky full of stars. “You think we’ll ever see the sky again?” You asked as you saw one of the stars shine a little brighter. “We will see the sky again.” He said as he looked over at you, and you turned your head to look at him. Both of you smiled softly, and then you guys fell asleep.

Without realizing it, five months had passed by. One of the families in the place, had convinced almost every family to go out, since no announcement was made during the five months.

“We can’t just live here! We have to give our children a good childhood, in which they can look onto the sky and not a while ceiling!” The woman said as she pointed to the ceiling. “We’ll go out, and I want to take the most of you with me, so you can have your life back!”

You heard the families consider it in a low voice, and the ones that had children accepted, along with an old couple that couldn’t stand being here anymore. As you saw them walk to the front, your hand moved to Kuroo’s hand, making sure he wouldn’t move up front. You interlocked your fingers upon his, and he did the same, giving you a soft squeeze.

The people that were left in the back were the ones that knew they needed to have patience. And you were happy to see your and Kuroo’s parents among them.

And when the other families were going to leave, Kuroo held your hand again. That day you fell asleep in Kuroo’s lap while laying in the couch watching a movie.

And as Kuroo, moved a piece of your hair from your face, his mom entered the place. “You should tell her, after all, it is the end of the world.”

“I know. But she seem happy this way.”

“She’s happy because she’s with you. You should have seen her when you were sick. She loves you, but she doesn’t know it yet.” Kuroo’s mom said as she gave him a smile and walked away.

The boy sighed, as he looked down at you, and brushed his fingers on your cheek. And finally decided to sleep along with you.

Kuroo planned on confessing his love for you, and when he was finally going to say it while you guys were talking the the couch, the siren sounded. The announcement started as usual, saying this was not a drill, and then it talked about what happened in the past months, something that nobody knew.

Your hand had made a way to his, and he squeezed yours as he listened to the announcement. It was now safe to go outside, and for everything to be the way it used to be.

When you guys heard that, you couldn’t help but to cry in each other’s arms. Without listening to the last part of the announcement.

And after some minutes, both of your families appeared in the room, and hugged both of you while they cried. The joy was huge, for both your families, and you finally felt that everything will go the right way again.

And while everyone celebrated, you accepted you fell in love with Kuroo.

Now you both lay down in the grass on the hill, watching the stars for the fist time after surviving the end of the world. Although it may seem you were alone, you could hear the laughs of both your families from the distance.

“We survived.” Kuroo said as he looked at you, and you looked back at him.

You smiled while getting a hold on his hand, and then squeezing it.

“I heard you and your mom that day.” You said as you played with his fingers. “I was in denial when she said I loved you. But then I realized I wouldn’t want to overcome the end of the world with anyone but you.”

Kuroo had stopped breathing in the sixth word you said. And when you noticed the silence on his part, you smiled and talked again. “I love you, Kuroo Tetsuro.”

“OH MY GOD TETSURO, JUST KISS HER ALREADY!” He heard his dad screaming, and finally smiled.

You blushed after hearing noticing Kuroo’s father heard everything along with his mother and your family. And when you were going to talk, Kuroo kissed you.
