As silly as this sounds, I actually like getting their catalog in my mailbox from time to time. I get my wire from them, they're like 1 of 2 stores that sell the wire I use. They added new wire colors, but unfortunately, they only stock the lower gauges.
I asked once who I might contact to get specific colors in smaller gauges, and when I got put on the line with someone, they said it's like a 1000 dollar minimum for special orders. I WISH I had that kind of money :/
My point is it's nice they still employ someone to make their catalogs and that they still have a physical catalog. (Not very save the trees of me but still)
Another artist I can't explain fully why I like it. It looks like it should from some obscure game you played that was fun but you can hardly remember where you saw it. But it was good enough for kid you and adult you is feeling nostalgic and wants to re-experience it, so when you go to describe it, no one has any idea what on earth you're talking about.
The DeathEgg robot I spent months on only got like 12 notes, I think, and the Lethal Company employee got 150. I'm more proud of the robot because I genuinely love it. It turned out so stinkin cool, it's alright that it didn't garner much, but really, I don't make these for the attention. If I was more popular I could probably turn this into a living but ah well that's life.
Shoutout to all the artists on Tumblr who work on something for weeks and only get 4 notes
Shoutout to all the artists on Youtube who do amazing speedpaints and, if they’re lucky, will get 500 views
Shoutout to all underappreciated artists who do amazing work and receive no recognition
I'm honestly not sure how to go about spreading optimism. Social media, the news, and sometimes your peers make everything seem bleak as hell. But really, things are improving little by little. It's kinda reflective of my own life. There are dips and potholes, but it's generally been getting better. I don't know about everyone's individual situation, but in a more zoomed out perspective, it's more of an 80/20 split. I'd like to encourage positive lines of thinking, but I have no idea how to do that.
Megaman Legends Reaverbot!! I’ve been playing a lot of the Legends series since the break and I’ve always love the Reaverbot’s weird ancient robot designs.
Also, Ransānaito is just Lancer Knight translated into Japanese via google 😅 felt cooler and closer to a Reaverbot name haha
I've been gaming and making stuff all day. Just a good day to make things I guess. I recently got the Megaman Battle Network collection played through 1, 2, and 3. Man when I tell you I cried booting up Megaman Battle Network 3 after 15 years. That nostalgia hit home in a way I can't describe. This was one of those games that you made friends with.
I remember riding to a new school one day, and this other kid also had the game, so we played next to each other on the way to school each day. One day He gave me this chip called Life Aura because he was so much better at the game he was that far into it. I miss that alot.
So I made...
Micro sized Mettaur
Swordy
And Bunny.
You should play these, they're still good games, though they are hard as hell.
