Hello! I recently found a website containing system terms, and found "exosystem" as one of them, with coining credit towards you. The description/explanation of it, however, was mixed with another term, so I couldn't see the explanation of it. If you're able to, could you please explain it? Thank you!!
Desc: A type of Gateway system wherein a couple, many, most, or all system members can travel between systems or different metaphysical planes outside of their headspace.
This term likely does overlap with other terms in some or many ways, but that’s what it means 😌
I hope that helps!

sometimes i get kind of exhausted by how hard it can be to find anyone describing their own experience with a specific kind of plurality.
It's so easy to find words and terms and definitions, and so much harder to find anyone talking about what it's like to be those things.
does that make sense? looking through pluralpedia can feel so large, and so empty.

Con-: A person who feels no attraction in general due to trauma but can feel some or moderate attraction towards another who they’ve connected to and know they can trust. This attraction may steadily grow over time but is likely to plateau once it reaches a certain point, which is individual to each person.

hello did you all make the term pluralpunk?
No, we did not. All of the terms we’ve made from scratch, based on other terms, or synonyms we’ve made for terms are all listed on our site. This includes all of our non-system terms, such as kin and mogai terms, as well. The most we ever did with Pluralpunk was help the coiner word the definition and reblogged the coining post(s) a few times. Unfortunately, we’re not sure if the coiner is still around on Tumblr and, if they are, we don’t know what they’re current username is. If anyone does know and the coiner is okay with it, please add a note or reblog with the actual coiner of Pluralpunk. Thank you!

Our Terms! (Long Post)
Non System Terms
Age Forge / Age Forging: When someone grows up mentally rather than physically in some way. They would normally act more mature and maybe take on a more caring and a teenager or adult role while they’re mentally progressing. It doesn’t have to be caused by stress or trauma, but could certainly be. Like age regressors, they don’t stay the age or ages they progress to all of the time. Synonyms: Age Progress / Progressing, Age Develop / Developing, Age Strengthen / Strengthening.
Con-:  A person who feels no attraction in general due to trauma but can feel some or moderate attraction towards another who they’ve connected to and know they can trust. This attraction may steadily grow over time but is likely to plateau once it reaches a certain point, which is individual to each person.
Modifier System Terms
Alder(s): A systemmate or systemmates who get older every year, not on the body’s birthday. If multiple systemmates do, they would likely get older on different days than each other but don’t have to. Over time, the systemmate or systemmates could look older in headspace, but don’t have to. What’s most important is they identify as a year older, every year. Synonyms: Uzee, Età, and Aldur.
Alder System: A system where everyone gets older every year, not on the body’s birthday. Though, one or a couple members could happen to get older then since everyone may get older on different days. Again, they all don’t have to look older every year, just identify as a year older. Though, they could all look older. Synonyms: Uzee System, Età System, and Aldur System.
Växer: A headmate or headmates that grow up with the body. So, every year on the body’s birthday, the headmate or headmates grow a year older as well. Synonyms: Grandir, Lumaki, Kukua.
Växer System: A system where all the headmates grow older each year as the body grows a year older. Synonyms: Grandir System, Lumaki System, Kukua System.
General System Terms
Foggy or Fogging: This is when there are too many members fronting or trying to front but there is no loss of identity. All the system members are aware of who they are and maybe even the other members fronting with them or trying to front with them. This could make it a bit hard for them to see through the body’s eyes and cause the body’s vision to be unclear for them but it doesn’t have to.
Headmate Terms
Absorber: A headmate who “soaks up” either the optimism or pessimism of other system members. They mirror that optimism or pessimism. Some Absorbers may choose to “soak up” both, though. If they choose to “soak up” or absorb the optimism, they may be seen stuck to the hip of the system Optimist (if there is one). In this case, they’d be trying to help the Optimist’s (or Pollyana’s) goals to lift the system up to better, happier places. If they choose to “soak up” or absord pessimism, they may be stuck to the hip of the system’s Worrier or Cynic (if there are any). They’d be trying to help with their goals to point out bad things that could happen and maybe even help disrupt system life.
Antagoniser: A headmate whose morals don’t align with most or all other system members. This could be in big or small ways and it doesn’t have to disrupt system life but could. They could also just be seen as a small annoyance rather than a disturbance but that’s doesn’t have to be the case either! It all depends how they interact with the other system members and how those other members handle their differing morals. Synonyms: Intimidator, Annoyer.
Artist: A headmate who has the most artistic talent. They can also be the only who expresses their artistic talents most as opposed to the one with the most talent. These talents can obviously include drawing, painting, and things like that; but, it can also include writing and just anything creative! Synonyms: Artiste, Artista, Artisan.
Coach: A headmate whose role is to make sure the system’s body is healthy with a healthy and balanced diet along with good exercise. They will often try to teach other system members about what they know to hopefully gain some help and support from them. Their success rate depends on how much effort other system members are willing to put in to keep up the effort. Some Coaches may also be helpful to system members in the mental health department as well, making sure everyone is mentally healthy or as mentally healthy as possible. Synonyms: Mentor, Trainer.
Cynic: A headmate that thinks very negatively, like a Worrier, but wants to disrupt life in someway for other system members or the system as a whole. They may do this because they want other system members to understand or relate to their constant negative emotions or because they have some anger issues or because of a number of other reasons. Their disruptiveness can be “small” things or things that are bigger. It all depends on how disruptive to life they want to be and how disruptive they’re allowed to be.
Emotionalist: A headmate that feels a lot of emotions, but is good at expressing those emotions to others. They are good at advocating their emotions to others as well as advocating for other system members. They also tend to be good at expressing the feelings of the system as a whole to other people as well. Whether this be through actions or words.
Escutcheon: A headmate who is very open with their feelings, but try to put up a shield of sorts so that external forces or internal forces can’t hurt them at all or not as much. They’re often system members that are normally described as being tough and don’t like the idea of being or being seen as vulnerable. They often times will try to detatch themselves from their emotions in someway, especially if any or all other system members are feeling the same or in a similar way to them.
Executioner: A headmate who tends to be a bit aggressive or off-putting to others; who feels the need to interject themselves into arguments outside of the headspace. They don’t try to calm the argument down or come to a compromise, instead they assert themselves into it and say their peace before potentially backing out. However, if the outside person they’re arguing with continues arguing as well, they may likely stay in front to continue arguing back. Often, they are inserting themselves into the arguments because they felt personally attacked in someway and the argument or person upset them in someway. Their goal is not to protect themselves or anyone else in the system, but to try to have their feelings and opinions on the matter heard. This can but doesn’t have to include headmates who may sometimes purposely and personally mess up relationships outside of headspace that they deem “not important,” “not worth while,” or they believe is somehow harmful to them and maybe even the whole system. Even if other system members don’t agree that this is the case.
Frijōn: A headmate who’s very friendly and wants to be friends with everyone inside and outside of the system. They love to work on group projects and are happiest talking to or making friends! Synonyms: Comrade, Chum, Frēond, Friund.
Hygienist: Pretty straight forward, but this is a headmate who makes sure that the body is kept clean and well-maintained in the hygiene department. They may do this by taking front when needed, at (a) certain time(s), once a day, and/or by keeping up with what other headmates are doing while in front to make sure they do their part as well.
Jokestar: A headmate who’s a jokester and looovveess being the centre of attention! Depending on their personality, they may be very helpful to a system’s Optimist. However, they can also tend to make jokes in a wrong situation. Some may even make a lot of dark jokes when they think it fits a situation, even if it may not always be the best time to joke or best thing to joke about. They’re contribution really depends on their other personality traits and how much they yearn to be the centre of attention.
Känsla or Kanslive: The opposite of an Emotionalist; a headmate who does very poorly at expressing their own emotions. Some may even do so poorly as to need another system member or the system Emotionalist to help explain for them to other system members or people outside of the system. They may even be afraid or uncomfortable to express their emotions but don’t need to be. This is not a result of a system member being non-verbal or otherwise hard to communicate normally with.
Lone Wolf: A headmate that sticks to themself. They may or may not be close with only a select number of system members or they may be close with most everyone in the system. However, they don’t tend to front much and don’t like interacting internally or externally in big groups. When they do front, they often like to do so alone (not co-fronting) and don’t engage externally with many people unless necessary. Just because they like to be alone, though, doesn’t mean they can’t contribute to the system or that they don’t have a lot to contribute. Synonyms: Loner.
Negotiator: A headmate who’s role is to settle disputes or arguments externally with singlets or other systems apart from their own. They find compromises where other system members may be reluctant to or too stubborn to even consider. They take pride in finding the “middle ground” that everyone can in someway agree on.
Optimist: A headmate who is always trying to find the good in things for themselves, the system, and others! Whether that be finding more good in an already good thing or the little bit of good in a prinarily bad thing. They try to boost other system members up when they’re down and are always looking for any of the potential positives in anything that happens. They also tend to be, but don’t have to be, the life of a party. Synonyms: Pollyanna.
Peacemaker: A headmate whose purpose is to find compromises for internal disputes between system members. They take pride in settling arguments for the better in which everyone is happy with the outcome.
Protescutor: A headmate who would technically be a prosecutor otherwise but they and/or their headmates don’t feel it totally fits or don’t like the connotations. Usually a headmate who “isn’t as much of a jerk” as persecutors are seen as. Can also be used for headmates who are both persecutors and protectors. Synonyms: Defender, Vigilante, Shielder.
Shida or Shidlive: A headmate who likes to cause trouble, but not always to necessarily disrupt system life. Like Jokestars, they like to be the centre of attention. Unlike Jokestars, they don’t always make jokes though. The amount of trouble and/or disruption they may cause depends on the headmate’s personality.
Syllogist: A headmate who focuses on logic and statistics when it comes to just about anything. They especially use it to determine how system wide or system member decisions might turn out. They can also tend to use it to justify their own feelings about certain things or to try to shut down their emotions if they view them as “wrong” or “illogical.” This can either be a headmate that already feels a lot of emotions or very litte or in between. Synonyms: Logician.
Timerkeeper: A headmate that “keeps time” for the system and makes sure the system is where they need to be on time (work, school, meetings, hangouts, parties, etc). They tend to get stressed if anyone (inside or outside the system) is running late but can sometimes also get stressed out if they tend to be places too early and have to wait for things to begin or other people to arrive.
Worrier: A headmate that often worries for the worst even if they don’t mean to. They often focus much more on the bad than the good, even sometimes finding something bad in something that’s primarily good. They don’t want to disrupt the system, but sometimes their over-worrying can do that. Synonyms: Pessimist, Downer.
Other System Terms
Morceaux D’âme: A spiritual headmate term for systems that have some soul splitting going on; wherein some or many or all headmates are pieces of on person’s soul. They are still, usually, individuals though. While they may share some or many similarities to the soul they “split” from, they are their own beings and should be treated as such.
Parcelle D’âme: A spiritual headmate term for those who could use Morceaux D’âme but prefer this one. It’s also for those whose headmates all (or some or many) have different souls than each other.
Cruxen: For those whose spiritual system experiences split souls. This term is for the “core” or “original” or “main” soul piece.
Kroppens Ursprung: Sort of a synonym for “original” or “core” but wherein no headmates split from them and they just happen to be the first to control or enter the body. Primarily for spiritual systems. Synonyms: Kär, Tera, Ker.
Plural Mogai Terms
Plurbéton (based on this term): A gender/orientation that’s static or primarily static despite plurality. Wherein all or most system members identify the same or similarly in at least one thing (orientation or gender). Most or all system members may identify this way due to passive influence from each other or just because they do.

Do you know of any other active inclusive plural blogs? we're trying to find more people to follow and talk to but keep running into exclusionists and its really starting to wear us out
I know we were mentioned in a few inclusive masterposts.
There’s also @plural-labels @plurgai-archive @pluralrights @plural-culture-is (sorry for the mentions everyone!). To name a few.
Really any plural or system related blogs we follow and reblog from will be inclusive.

Would a group be considered a subsystem if they mostly stay together voluntarily due to commonalities, or would it have to be more structural than that?
That can be a subsystem, yeah. What matters most, usually, is what said system thinks it more closely resembles and what they’re most comfortable labelling it as. Subsystems, groups, etc all function differently for different systems.

Note
will you ever tell your irl's you are a system?
Irl’s as in like real life friends?
Either way, I think it depends! We don’t currently have many irl friends to tell, but it would really depend how accepting and understanding we know them to be. Another thing we’d have to take into account is whether or not we want to take massive amounts of time to explain being a system. We have come out to a couple singlet friends, who we met online, but most of them already knew what being a system is. At least, on a basic level.
The only person we know irl who knows we’re a system is the body’s brother and he’s also a system so 🤷🏻‍♂️

A lot of your links are broken or lead to "Page not found" :(
Can you let me know which ones exactly? If they’re the ones that lead to posts or websites outside of Tumblr and you’re using mobile Tumblr on an Android, it might be your device as opposed to the actual links. If any of them are posts that aren’t ours, then the posts might have been deleted.

I’d ask the same about how Endogenic plurals shouldn’t use the word “system” when it had a million other uses before being assigned to terminology regarding those who are multiple.
As an actual answer, though, you obviously can’t be forced to stop using the words entirely, but our system were the ones to assign those words to a system/plural context. We assigned system roles to them, therefore, to use them in that context against our dni is the same as interacting with our account or posts when we say not to.
However, we know sysmeds don’t care about that type of thing, so I’ll say this instead. By using terms created by non-traumagenic systems means you’re indirectly supporting us by spreading our words farther than our own sphere. Hope you can live with that 😇

I saw ‘kin gatekeepers was on your dni, does this include those who are against KFF/tiktok kinnies/those who misuse ‘kin terminology/ect?
It includes anyone who tells someone else how they should treat or experience having kins.

Is there a way to appeal a denied entry app from multiplicity database if we admit we were wrong about an answer we made? I genuinely feel bad for what was said and was definitely answering from a bad perspective. If not, we understand.
We don’t have any sort of form or anything set up for denial appeals. However, denials only result in kicks. If you’d like to write something out, re-join, and send it in #applications explaining how you realise your views from before weren’t appropriate and would like another shot at re-applying, you’re free to. Just make sure not to break anything up as that channel has a 6hr cooldown.
You can also pm us here but we haven’t been good about checking Tumblr all too often recently.

hi! I was wondering, would you be okay with others doing flags for system terms you coined? possibly using the role flag template?
As long as it’s done respectfully (as in not to mock us, the term, and/or those who use it) anyone is allowed to make flags or symbols or do anything else to contribute to our terms!
