Note
Do you have any advice for dealing with stray hairs? I just did my first nylon rerooting and gave it boil-washed curls, but I can’t seem to tame all these stray hairs and make things look less frizzy...
Perhaps try some detangler spray or fabric softener on a toothbrush.

I really want to try doll reprints but since I’m 13 idk if my parents would want me to have to get a mask for the msc. (Probably because they’d question the product’s safety.) so are there any non-toxic sealants you’d recommend?
Some people have used a dab-on method of gently patting some kind of matte sealant on the head with makeup sponges in light layers. (It’s hard to remove if you make a mistake).
I haven’t tried this, so I can’t speak to the efficacy, but there are a few tutorials on youtube that might be able to guide you.

I was wondering, why don’t you have your ask box open? I see a lot of people using the submission thing to ask questions, and it seems that it would be a lot easier for both you and them to use the ask box instead. Is there a particular reason why you have it closed?
Answer: It should be on now. I’m not sure what happened. Looks like the setting got untoggled at some point.

Can this doll be fixed? I just rerooted her all the way and I find this. She had a really bad glue leakeage problem in her hair.
Readers, got any tips? I would say you could possibly fill in with a flexible glue and then make a removable wig.

Also what is bjd?
Answer: A BJD is a Ball Jointed Doll - articulated dolls with joints that have ball shapes that allow the limbs to move. They are generally made of resin, and strung inside with elastic. The style of doll is ancient, but they were popularized in this century by Japanese and Korean artists in the early 2000s. Now you can find doll artists all over the world who make them.
If you are ever interested in the hobby, do please do your research or ask questions of someone familiar with them. There are a LOT of counterfeit dolls out there, and you can waste a lot of money buying them if you aren’t familiar with the companies and dolls. (Counterfeit dolls can get you excluded from the wider community because this is a small hobby, and fakes disproportionately harm the artists compared to more mass-produced dolls.)
