✧ They talk about the person in past tense… then correct themselves. Then stop talking entirely.

✧ They touch things that belonged to the person like they’re fragile, sacred, about to disappear.

✧ They hoard the last voicemail, last message, last anything. Play it. Don’t play it. Just knowing it exists hurts enough.

✧ They leave something untouched, an empty seat, a half-packed bag, a coffee order that isn’t theirs.

✧ They get irrationally angry when someone else seems to be “moving on.” As if forgetting is betrayal.

✧ They don’t let themselves cry all at once. It comes in pieces. Like they’re afraid too much grief will drown them.

✧ They over-apologize. For being quiet. For being distant. For not being okay.

✧ They become hyper-aware of time, dates, anniversaries, time zones, the exact moment everything ended.

✧ They get superstitious. Ritualistic. As if doing things "right" might reverse something.

✧ They smile when they talk about the person. But it’s brittle. And it never quite touches their eyes.

I just had an idea for an au, a forsaken/poppy playtime crossover.

Hear me out. After everything that happened in playtime co you would want the employees that deserve it to get punished for their crimes right? That’s where this au comes in, for the employees guilty or otherwise to pay for their sins which includes them dying over and over and over again forever. However the thing is that people can “have their sins cleansed” which means that people like say Stella Greyber, Sharon, Rich, and Claire Harper can take their punishments, dying over and over, never fighting back, and even talking to the toys. Afterwards they would turn into the punishers/killers working with the toys to make sure everyone else suffers for their crimes. It sounds pretty fun.

Sketching, lineart (which was abandoned eventually, as you can see lmfao) and basic color/lighting blocking:

I created mockup poses using DAZ3D, as well as using Dotflare's 'HD Gabriel' model and Xetirano's 'V1 model' as visual references for drawing some of the details correctly.

I modelled the background by hand in Blender and aligned it with my previously-created DAZ3D poses to get the perspective correct and kinda just...slapped some colors and perspective blur on it and called it a day.

This is about 12 days' worth of work, ish. I can't remember if I worked on it every day or not.
