Levi wasn’t a cuddler in bed.

To him, it just didn’t make sense. Somebody’s arm is always gonna be in a weird position, it gets hot, and then…you look like an asshole if you move away. Plus, he always liked sleeping while facing outward, and always closest to the door. An old habit from The Underground he just couldn’t break.

It seemed pointless.

Until he met you.

The first time he felt your arm slide around his torso, it startled him, his body tensing. And then slowly, your body inched closer until your face was buried in his shoulder blades. He wasn’t sure if you were asleep or awake, but he stayed still as you legs then tucked neatly inside his.

You took a deep breath and he felt himself take one with you, your heart lightly beating against his back and your breath against his bare skin. He closed his eyes, feeling your body heat wrap around him like a blanket. And then his arm, tucked neatly underneath him, reached around to touch yours, pulling you even closer to him.

Now, he can’t imagine sleeping any other way.
