guys before we overreact (too late for some of you based on all the "rtd NEVER should have returned!!!1!" comments, you need to calm down) im quite sure theyre not going to keep billie piper in the long run. it doesnt seem feasible. so calm down.

i am still mad about ncuti only getting 2 seasons though because he basically got the equivalent of one series and a bit. hes only had three episodes more than chris ecclecston. hes had so few chances to shine and i am furious tbh.

ok. i do not think theyll find rogue in the finale. with all the behind the scenes evidence, it seems unlikely.

but i do think theyll find out where he is. and i do think they might even find means of getting to him.

i do think they will find him next season. and i do think there will be hints of that in the finale

good lord guys im begging some whovians to watch the latest episode with an ounce more media literacy

yes the message was muddled, even if you do watch it properly, but do you really think the show was trying to portray the people conspiring about hellions as a good thing? do you really think the doctor using violence, a thing he despises, was being portrayed as a good thing?

please please please im begging you. remember that these episodes dont exist in vaccums. even if it isnt advertised as a two part special, sometimes there are followups that explain things. give it a chance.

watched the new doctor who and... i feel like there shouldve been another draft. idk. the concept is solid and i really enjoyed parts of it, but alot of the aspects couldve been done better.

i feel like maybe there couldve been more buildup to the whole "everyone hates unit now" stuff, other than just a quick montage and a line near the beginning. the pipeline of misinformation being spread is a really interesting subject imo, but they didnt properly explore it. i think it'd honestlyve helped if the episode was longer, that way they couldve shown ruby and conrads relationship evolving aswell as the slow pipeline of unit hate.

not to mention the whole kate nearly killing conrad thing. it is definitely in character for her, but it could've also been a great opportunity to show that yes, unit does do good, but its still made up of people, and those people make mistakes. it couldve sparked a debate on whether conrad deserved that sort of treatment considering the things he said and did. but instead, the moment the scene ended, it was brushed off.

i do wonder how this episode will be looked at in retrospect. i have a feeling some people might just put it in the "bad" camp without thinking about the nuances of it. i don't think its bad tbh. it was pretty much just okay, and thats fine.
