dorian and chaol were both supposed to have cute healer wives and yrene and sorscha were probably going to be best friends and bond over anatomy and their cute husbands and their old family and old life and the four were all supposed to be friends and have dinner parties together

So I need to get this off my chest but...

I'm feeling kinda Anti rhys these months idk. And Mor. They really didn't treat Nesta properly and I'm having lukewarm feelings towards Feyre too.

Mor is rude towards Nesta just bc the buffer between her and azriel is Cassian, who has feelings for nesta. If Nessian canonically happens then Mor will have to confront Azriel which is something she's avoiding at any costs.

Our dear Rhys dislikes Nesta bc she made Feyre work all alone when they were young, forgetting that Nesta is just a couple of yrs older than Feyre and deals with stress and trauma differently. She becomes emotionally closed off and retreats back within herself, seeking materialistic pleasures that the Inner circle despise of. He doesn't realise that just like his precious mate, Nesta is also going through PTSD and instead of helping her he acts like an asshole which is smth I really hate.

Feyre of all people should know her sister. It speaks volumes about her that she can't figure out that Nesta's entire behavior is a big giant coping mechanism. Instead she blames the latter and decides that Nesta is being ungrateful. If she ever thinks otherwise we may never know bc of her stubbornness.

All the sisters react to trauma in different ways. Feyre and Elain might look like vulnerable messes (with the former looking tougher than the latter) but Nesta just puts up more and more walls. If she was cold before she became frigid after she became Fae. Idk I just think that both of the younger sisters should have recognized the signs instead of triggering her further

Tl;dr I hope sjmaas does justice to Nesta's character cuz she's the best written one amongst all of them. And I hope she doesn't get "cured" bc Cassian has sex with her. Both of them deserve so much better. Also I'll be more than happy if we get zero feysand content.
