A pair of retro boomboxes from the 80s converted to Bluetooth speakers with rechargeable batteries. DM for orders and enquiries. Both of these were acquired in non-functioning condition and were not repairable to their original function. Instead, I have converted both to Bluetooth speakers with 12v rechargeable battery packs. 1980s Roberts RFM3 Radio Converted to Bluetooth Speaker with Rechargeable Battery €120. This model is in great aesthetic condition and has been converted to a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker using the original speaker which is still sounding amazing. A new on off switch and 12v power input have been fitted and a power plug is supplied. The buttons and dials are not functional and are merely now aesthetics. The ever popular swivel base is also present with this one. Vintage Pye Valve Radio Converted to Bluetooth Speaker with LEDs for a customer recently. This beautiful 1950s timber radio was in excellent condition but the speaker needed replacing with a modern 170w unit. 1950s Pye Valve Radio Converted to Bluetooth Speaker with LEDs €130. This radio was manufactured in the Pye factory in Dundrum in the late 50s. Overall it is in very good condition for its age, with just a few historical woodworm holes now treated. I have added a Bluetooth amplifier with volume dial to the rear and a new 12v power input. The new warm LEDs illuminate the dial perfectly, just like it's original state. The tuning dial is still all clearly visible.
