Some of you know Courtney is a nurse practitioner now, and one of the skills she needs to master is suturing, or stitches. Anyways, this morning I see a reminder on our calendar to "get pig feet", which lead to this text exchange assigning me the task to procure pig feet for her to practice on. Which is, as stated in the text thread, the most #metal thing I'll do all week. #ilovemywife

This is the #homestead of the legendary Josie Bassett Morris. She built this place in 1913, and lived here for 50 years. Fiercely independent, Josie ran a profitable cattle business from here as well as brewed apricot brandy and chokecherry wine during the prohibition years.
