Hello I would like to rant about one of my favourite ship tropes

Not even rant I just want to say what it is

Every time I see a fanfic/fancomic where both parties of a relationship end up accidentally planning a proposal at the same time???? I LIVE FOR IT

It is such a weirdly specific trope but it makes me want to implode (positively) every time I see it and I hope it happens to me one day just because HOW ROMANTIC IS THAT???

Especially when both parties end up going to a mutual friend about it and obviously not wanting to spoil either proposal they end up helping both out

Soz but I need to share these homestuck headcanons other wise I will explode (specifically about Equius)

So first off, I feel like so much of the fandom just heavily ignore the friendship between Vriska and Equius, and idk why but I just love their dynamic so so much. I’d like to think that before Equius and Nepeta became moirails, they tried aswell, but obviously this did not work out well at all for either of them, so they just settled on being friends

Another little one that has been bouncing around in my head is that because of how STRONG Equius is, he can’t exactly hug nepeta because he doesn’t want to risk hurting her, and to combat this, Equius kisses her instead. Now because of how different troll and human relationships are when one of the beta kids first saw this (feeling either Jade or John) they were kinda like “aww that’s so cute!! How long have you guys been dating for??” And nepeta and Equius were just kinda like “…. Wait what???”
