He stares blankly at the papers in front of him, glossing over the usual material. Similar contents, different names. Routine. He sighs and closes his eyes, reminding himself that the results, whatever goes on this paperwork, would be closure for someone else he will hopefully never meet. It was always a numbed feeling to him, but it was always useful for the people that knew whoever it was on that cold table.

It’s literally dirty work, something nobody in their right mind would want to do, but someone had to do it anyways. A well-respected position, yet seen as a chore. These remains were, of course, routine.

So, he’s still playing that Mr. No First Name Given Midnight game, huh? Good to see that never changed.Angelface is a lot more reliable than he appears. He looks classy and proper now, but when you’ve known him for years, it’s hard to see him as anything more than a close friend. He needs to cut some, but I shouldn’t be the one saying that. John Madden would be saying it though.John Madden is wonderful too, his shoulder makes for a good pillow whenever he drops by. He enjoys the simpler things in life, and I admire that lifestyle. Being near him always gets me to separate my work from my personal life.
