Just so everyone’s aware: there’s some bullshit being spread about Kat and me online, again. None of it is true. It’s a mix of trolls, fake accounts, and people trying to stir up drama for attention. And we’re not interested in playing along.

If you come across these rumors, please don’t just take them at face value. Ask for proof. So far, we haven’t seen a single claim with any actual validity. It’s just drama for drama’s sake.

We’ve documented everything and spoken to legal professionals. Not because we’re afraid, but because it’s smart to be prepared and understand our options. We could take it further if it keeps escalating, but honestly, we’d rather not waste time on people who clearly have nothing better to do.

As someone who’s on the high functioning end of the spectrum, this really connected with me. I struggle a lot with social cues and starting conversations. Another thing I struggle with is reading my own facial expressions. (Example: I’ll be thinking about something positive and spacing out and then someone asks if I’m ok bc apparently I look sad-) But yeah I guess I’m just weird, rude, and judgmental for being myself. Then people turn around and say I’m “too quiet” “too isolated” HOW ABOUT IM JUST CAREFUL ABOUT WHO I OPEN UP TO BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO GET MY HEART RIPPED OUT!!!

Neurotypical Person: "Just talk to people. Stop being afraid of rejection. The only way you'll fail is if you don't even try. Have some confidence."

Autistic Person: (asks whatever questions they can think of from a prepared list and the conversation ends up being awkward and forced)

Autistic Person: (infodumps about their special interest and gets labeled as annoying)

Autistic Person: (talks to someone, by some miracle it works and this person actually enjoys the conversation, but now they have to do it again and again and again, and they eventually run out of things to talk about or do something wrong)
