Given their long lifespan, starry eladrin mature and reproduce at a slow pace. A starry eladrin is considered sexually mature at 150 years of age, but they typically do not have children until about 200 years of age.

Starry eladrin are also not typically sexually motivated. They only actively seek out copulation when they go into heat periodically when they are around the age of 200. Around this time, most are only able to produce two children, though some have three. After this point in their lives, they no longer seek out having children, and generally cannot. If they did not have children during this time, they will experience another heat cycle in another 200 years.

Black hole eladrin experience the same reproductive cycle, but they are also able to reproduce asexually if they wish. Additionally, black hole eladrin are all intersex, and can perform male or female roles during reproduction.

Black hole eladrin are unique in that no matter what kind of humanoid they reproduce with, the offspring will always be full blooded black hole eladrin. Their genes are entirely dominant, down to devouring other genetic information. Offspring can exhibit some physical aspects of the non-eladrin parent, but they will still be fully eladrin.
