Singing with my art again

Haven’t posted anything Repo the genetic opera in long time,so enjoy my cover of chase the morning ft my drawing of blind mag.

Sooooo. This came in yesterday. I wish it was made better and the material was a more floating material because the material that was used drapes weird but I don’t have time to get another costume made by a different company because I am on a con crunch. So I decided to just make do and quickly put the makeup on to see how everything would look and decided not to wear the undershirt just because it’s really big and baggy on me. I would like to emphasize,I was not feeling good at all while filming with the costume and make up on, but I powered through. It’s really difficult for me to get into cosplay because I have really bad, chronic pains, but honestly, I am willing to push through because it just looks really good. (I’m waiting for a go ahead. Call me Viktor . I do not care.😭😂)

I didn’t have a lot of time, but I wanted to draw something really quick of Viktor and my OC sharing a cute moment between the two of them while Delilah was pregnant with their daughter Mercedes. I’m pretty sure if I wasn’t rushing it. I would’ve made it. Look a little better, but I ran out of time.

This base has been floating around the art community and at first I wasn’t going to use it because I felt like it’s very overused, but then I got the idea to make it JAYVIK, and I know other people have already had this idea but I just couldn’t stop thinking about it and I just had to get it out of my system. I feel like I could’ve worked more on Jayce but with how tiny he is, I didn’t want to go too crazy with details that weren’t even going to be seen because sometimes if you go too crazy with details, it takes away from the big picture. I have yet to recover from the scene from from the show and so I was crying while making this.😭

Viktor deciding to share a little dance with his wife. Nothing else mattered in that moment. Not the sharp pain he’s getting in his leg, not hex tech, not even the humongous pile of work he still hast to do. All that matters right now, is the moment he’s in right now. Sharing a dance with a woman he loves and cherishes, and looking into her eyes. They’re not able to do much, and only sway from side to side, but for them that is enough.

⚠️disclaimer⚠️ Viktor still uses his crutch, he just put it to the side for a moment so he could properly dance with her, and is mainly distributing his weight and she’s helping support him.

I know this came late, but I literally thought about this the night of Valentine’s Day at around 9 PM and I tried to finish it before 12 AM the next day, but I was getting really tired and I figured it would be better to release it late so that I can take my time and not rush it due to exhaustion, and drive myself to sleep deprivation. I was trying to think of cute romantic love songs that I could quote and the first thing that came to mind was come what may from Moulin Rouge and the “I will love you until my dying day” automatically came into my head and with Viktor ,it’s such a bittersweet line. It felt really good to draw my OC again because I haven’t drawn her in three years and honestly thought I wasn’t gonna be able to do this because I kind of forgot how to draw her.

About commissions❤️❤️❤️❤️

So I want to post some thing about this because I keep getting messages. Im sorry but, I do not take art commissions at the moment. I’m not trying to sound mean or selfish or anything. I tried it once, and I realized being a commission artist really wasn’t for me. It was just too overwhelming and not something I enjoyed doing. I just like doing art as something on my free time to help me relax and commissions were really stressful because it felt like it had to be perfect and I realized art isn’t something that needs to be so stressful that I don’t enjoy doing it anymore ,so I closed commissions until further notice. I might open them back up in the future and if and when that day happens, I will definitely post it and let everyone know.👍😊❤️

Mercedes (arcane oc)

Mercedes is the daughter of Viktor and my council oc Delilah. She has a mix between her Mother and her father’s looks but personality wise,she takes after Viktor. She’s got his sass and attitude. Hobbies and work wise, she takes after her dad and wants to work in a lab and do scientific research and experiments ,and begs Viktor countless times for him to let her help him out in the lab(he lets her if he knows he’s not gonna do anything too dangerous that day). She also will help Delilah with council work, but she finds it boring. When she was born and introduced her to Jayce and Ximena,Ximena instantly wanted to hold her and nurture and care for her,and even cooed at her in Spanish. Jayce and Mercedes have a sibling or uncle/niece type relationship(teasing each other,messing with each other,roasting,cracking jokes) . Viktor and Delilah absolutely adore their daughter and would go through time and space,just to keep her safe. I came up with this concept like three years ago, but never really did anything with it and so I finally decided to and this is the first time I’ve actually drawn out what she looks like. I’m not the best at writing backstories so forgive me.😅
