I beat Artificial Dream in Arcadia last night!

It's a really good experience and manages to capture the MegaTen vibe almost perfectly.

It was also cool to play through and recognize the few bits of Touhou stuff I do know - I even recognized some bullet patterns!

I'm a little disappointed that - with how high the encounter rate is - there isn't an Estoma equivalent and you don't get renewable access to Light Balls (the instant escape item) for a good while, but that's really my only complaint about the game.

All in all, if you're a fan of MegaTen or Touhou, or both, you should definitely pick the game up.

Touhou: Artificial Dream in Arcadia is GREAT

I'm not the biggest Touhou fan but the game hits almost all the right spots as a MegaTen junkie

Now please excuse me, I have to go walk through the wrong teleporter twenty times so I can get probably 500 Macca from a map completion bonus.

Was browsing a Caves of Qud thread on [Different Hellsite] and came across this masterpiece of a short paragraph:

"If you can get to the Yd Freehold, their medical area has a regeneration tank pre-filled with cloning draught and ready to regenerate you. Recently however convalessence has been buggy and blowing things up so it might self destruct depending on the version number you're playing. Good luck."

Which is that the smoldering pile of cinders in question did something along the lines of insulting someone's pet potted plant's mother's nephew's brother's father's former roommate

Honestly i love videogame progression balancing systems and SMT has to have the best one out there

The past year I've been playing through as many MegaTen games as I can find with full English translations.

So far I've beaten 16 titles, with another 16 (so far) to go.

A few of these I don't see people really talk about.

Maybe I'll do something drastic about that, like share my opinions on the Internet or something.
