Another work for Dmitry Burmak's awesome art challenge.

The swamp ghoul. Yes, his fangs stick out over his mouth. Imagine saber-toothed tigers. The ghoul waits for the victim to get stuck in the swamp and lose mobility, and then tries to pierce her throat or skull with his fangs and kill on the spot, because physically he is quite fragile.

Our Vhangeling: The Dreaming chronicale ended and my wife asked me to draw our characters. Her Unseelie Pooka in her cat form runs away with the phone with some saucy materials and my Unseelie Nocker tries to stop an evil encient chimera.

@kirillivanovromanovich asked me to elaborate what I dislike about Angel Hare seasons 2 and 3. Tumblr won't let me answer them directly, so here goes.

Obviously, spiler alert.

In the girst season Gaby was an ambigious character. It's heavily implied that she either killed Noah's father or teached him how to do it. All in all the story had a very uneasy atmosphere and the cartoon, while providing support to the traumatized child, also clearly served as a symbol of that trauma. The attempt to made the series wholesome and Gaby 100% good and sweet (can you imagine her version from season 3 explaining how to hide a gun and make an alibi for oneself?) just made it all feel shallow. Also, we've never got any further dive into Noah's past and he himself seemed to ignore it completey, which kinda undoes the impression of the s1, since you can't help but think that the author never thought the story through and just threw in some important sounding pieces.

I do not expect everyone to agree with me, just my personal impressions.

I am reading a great book on Russian North's people folklore, and one particular myth of evens was so cute I had to draw this.

God created the dog and the bera. The dog was smarter and the bear was stronger. But without thumbs he could not grab or catch anything. So the bear came to God and asked for the thumbs. Learning about that, the dog came to God too and asked for a gun. But God realised that with thumbs the bear will reap all teh animals and trees apart and with the gun the dog won't leave anyone alive, and denied them both.

Wholesome christian mascot would fit perfectly into Angel Hare.

The show was such a disappointment after the firts season, though.

Living in the dark, toxins and radiation have led to atrophy of the eyes, but he can still shoot at the unwanted untruder (and no one is wnated in his dungeons) with a shotgun.
