Just a heads up- I will no longer be drawing, nor taking requests for UTAU made/managed by nearsgarden, due to what's come out about them.

The UTAU of theirs that I've already drawn won't be taken down, as I don't see that making any sort of meaningful impact, but just know that doesn't mean I condone their actions, nor have I ever been associated with them.

If you don't know what's going, I unfortunately can't really give you much information as I'm not on Twitter or TikTok, where the majority of this took place. I've just heard bits and pieces from ppl vagueing about it on Bluesky- but what I have heard is enough for me to not want to draw their characters anymore.

My decision is not up for debate, especially not from random people I don't know, so if you try to argue with me about it I'm just going to block you.

Oh wow, seeing some of the utaus in the who are you category makes me feel so old lmao esp tomi samura, neko kanochi and CZloid (I don't mean any disrespect and its fine because no one can know all utaus but like considering those three in particular I considered very well known when I first starting utau-ing its just kinda funny to me)

NO IT IS RLLY FUNNY HOW MANY APPARENTLY POPULAR UTAY I JUST DON'T KNOW UJYHFDG I was talking w a friend about this just yesterday actually.

I've only started really getting into the community since last year (tomorrow's my 1 year anni :3), but I've hovered around it since I was a kid bc Vocal synth music is basically all I listened to; but somehow I completely avoided the Popular Ones until now (barring stuff like vipperloids ofc).

Yet somehow I found ones like Aki Hantsuki, SPIKE, and Kinoshita Yasu and got nostalgia attachment to them KUJYFH I also knew some of the Weird ones bc of one of Weebalu's videos, but only Yuzune and Meikutsu actually stuck to my brain

Got really bored last night and decided to fill in a bunch of UTAU tierlists.

Don't take these too seriously, if it's not an absolute fave or thing I hate, my opinion tends to be really fluid, which is why there's probably some inconsistencies between these lists
