you can always tell how little people actually care about art based on how much they hate modern/contemporary art

So uh….some dude apparently recreated Adobe Photoshop feature-for-feature, for FREE, and it runs in your browser.

If you have concerns about data scraping and gen a/i, Glazing is currently a great way to protect your work.
They're also experimenting with a web version. You can read more about the efforts by the University of Chicago here: The Glaze Project

(Adult) Human Proportions
Finished the first basic anatomy tutorial! This is all very widely spread info that was handed to me like day 2 of art school, but I wanted to have my own version so that I can share it freely.

Feet Tutorial
Tumblr media
When drawing a front view foot use triangles and pyramids, does are your friends. Above that triangle near the tip you will need to draw two bumps on the sides, which represent the ankle (fibula/tabula). When drawing toes i make 5 circles. The biggest circle the big toe then going down in size to the tiny toe. Then create the toes form by making 4 diagonal lines, make tiny lines going the opposite direction above them. It will kinda look like a zigzag. To make toenails lightly indicate they’re there with your pencil don’t fully line them out.
Side view feet pretty easy just draw a triangle again but have it be a bit longer on the horizontal side. Then add a rectangular shape for the weight of the foot. Make the corner where the heel will be more rounded and for the toes draw 3 or 4 lines curving up like a candy cane to signify toes.
Back view of a foot us an Isosceles triangle for the bottom heel make a round shape for the bottom. Also add little dents for the achilles Tendon, kind of would look like an hour glass shape.
When drawing feet the toes can only bend slightly upwards and the whole foot can bend downwards slightly. I know i say this a lot on my posts but use references, draw friends and family members feet. Draw your own as well, use your feet in different weird positions to master how to draw it.

I have a question about your discord server if that's okay? It says it's for beginners, but what constitutes beginners here? I'm at the level where I am barely capable of drawing recognizable stick figures. x_x
Hi! You're definitely welcome! I've gotten a lot of ppl asking for tips in the very beginning, and that's where I'll try to start! The main point being practice and community :3
