Introducing Pierre Lamaree, Ultimate Film Director • Citizen 14

“There is no greater love in this world than the one a creator has for his own.” This quote from Pierre Lamaree’s highest grossing film, The Egg With Two Yolks, describes his passion for his work as a movie director. He’s known for his movies jam packed with symbolism and impeccable foreshadowing that only shines through the second time you watch it. Off set, the actors and producers he worked with have done nothing but sing his praise for his calm temper, determination, and friendly attitude towards others. He’s got a few strange rules he forces his cast to follow, like never trying to bring him near bodies of water, and never shooting scenes on a Friday, but those only add to his pleasant eccentricity. His popularity put him in the eyes of Hope’s Peak Academy and they gave him the title of Ultimate Film Director.

Introducing Orpheus Antonis, Ultimate Herbalist • Citizen 13

When hearing the name Orpheus Antonis, many people think of the famous movie producer, Bill Antonis. Orpheus first was thrust into the spotlight by being seen on the sets of his father’s movies, often tending to actors when they got sick or stressed using homemade remedies. As Orpheus began to become more popular among actors, one mentioned him in an interview, thrusting the charming herbalist into the limelight himself. This publicity allowed him to reach more people with his herbalism, and eventually caught the eye of Hope’s Peak Academy. However, seemingly all at once, Orpheus completely vanished from the Hollywood scene, seemingly becoming more reserved when around cameras and other celebrities.

Onyomi Kawaguchi, Ultimate Translator • Citizen 12

Ciao! Onyomi Kawaguchi’s first moment in the spotlight was during a documentary about her abnormally large family of twelve and their more traditional life in the countryside. But then, she was only a face in a crowd of quiet, unassuming children. In her teen years, she started traveling around the world with her mom, working as a young translator for small time orators in foreign countries, seemingly her family’s main source of income. Her hidden talent had been revealed to the world, as an excellent language learner, mostly dispelling rumors that her parents were under educating their children in their homeschool. She’s gone way up in the translating world since then, gaining the attention of Hope’s Peak Academy as well as the title of Ultimate Translator.

For a moment I thought your most recent post said "Introducing Naokatsu Taemon, Ultimate Cat" and I was so willing to just accept it.

naokatsu taemon is actually the name of the cat in that title card, the guy holding him is not related to this fanganronpa at all

Introducing Naokatsu Taemon, Ultimate Cat Groomer • Citizen 11

A humble cat groomer from the suburbs of Britain, Naokatsu is the son of two famous Japanese bodybuilders and well known within the niche animal grooming community. He’s known for his soft temper, abnormally large build, and his gentleness when it comes to cats. Not much is really known about him, other than his brief appearance in the newspapers when he was caught stealing large amounts of money from his parents to open his own cat grooming business at only fourteen. He keeps it quiet, and it was quite surprising to him that Hope’s Peak Academy even cared enough to grant him the title of Ultimate Cat Groomer.

Introducing Madoka Fujioka, Ultimate Actress • Citizen 10

Who hasn’t heard of the name Madoka Fujioka? She’s been in the spotlight all her life, starring in movies as a toddler and being dubbed ‘Japan’s Beloved’. She was a fairly normal child star, until she hit puberty and started transitioning. There she rebranded herself-- at first it was believed she was putting on a villainous, demonic persona in interviews to promote her new role, but that was quickly disproved when she stuck with it past the movie’s premiere. Some have become die hard fans of the lore she builds around herself, while others believe she’s crazy, but they both can agree that when she takes on a role she completely becomes that character, and for that remarkable talent Hope’s Peak Academy gave her the title of Ultimate Actress.

I love your mushroom character! I have seen another kg with a character that had the same talent, but she was the very first death. I hope Kinoko survives longer!

sorry to ask about this right after another ask about this, but Lahela's last name. Is it real? Is that a real name? How did you even come up with it??

lahelas last name is actually real! there was a woman with her last name in real life who was told it was 'too long' for her driver's license and that she had to trim her last name down (fun fact, because of her the character limit for driver's licenses was extended) i thought it was so wild that i had to include it in our fangan

Introducing Lahela  Keihanikukauahihuliheekahaunaele, Ultimate Beachcomber •  Citizen 09

Lahela K….Lahela Kei…..LAHELA KEIHANAIKUKAUAKAHIHULIHEEKAHAUNAELE. A name just as notorious as the girl herself, Lahela made a name for herself by founding the “Kei Foundation”, a charity dedicated to protecting the beached and coral reefs of Hawaii. There’s been debate on whether or not the intentions of this were to stop colonization, or just so the girl herself could keep collecting shiny things on the beach, but the effort made her gain widespread attention nonetheless. During a particular interview, she showed her wide collection of items and trinkets that she found in the sands of a nearby beach, the gathering gaining the attention of Hope’s Peak Academy and gaining her the title of Ultimate Beachcomber. Some people see her as a hoarder, but she considers herself an ‘esteemed collector.’ (inspiration for drawing below the cut!)

Introducing Kirisuto Han, Ultimate Hero • Citizen 08

It’s a bird, it’s a plane...no! It’s Kirisuto Han! This fiery personality first made himself known throughout the streets of Tokyo for taking down one of the largest crime organizations in the area single handedly, and since then has cemented himself in the daily news by helping contain petty criminals and other people who commit heinous acts. Many members of the police force don’t approve of such a young boy wedging himself into their dangerous affairs, but to that Kirisuto has been quoted saying, ‘Suck it!’. The bravery and determination of this spunky hero garnered the praise not only of the people of Tokyo, but of the prestigious Hope’s Peak Academy, earning him the title of Ultimate Hero.
