Hello. This is my tech collection. They have quirks and pretty shapes, so obviously I've grown attached and given them little personalities.

I have a little A10e I saved from getting trashed as it was my boyfriend's old phone before he switched. Fully functional if a little slow. Old and worn, put into storage but safe. I named her Orchid. From what I know about her; she was also salvaged from getting dumped by an office before coming into our possession.

My trusty Galaxy S24 FE in Granite I got last December as a gift and remains my current phone. Very snappy and shiny; a bit ambitious as it does get hot sometimes. I named the device and it's AI assistant, "Stardust."

Salvaged S23 I didn't have the heart to let get trashed. Works like new but screen is in tatters. Decomissioned until I can afford a screen replacement.

My very loyal A52 which I had used for many years before switching. I nicknamed it "Magic Rectangle". It's still fully functional like new. Durable as hell (my BF's A52 got hit by a truck and it came out flawless). Safe in storage.

My absolutely gorgeous black PS5. No further explanation.

My Galaxy Tab A7 minidesk I use for big art projects and writing. I like to run an aquarium sim on her.

Wybie, the iHome S2 (second gen). He's the household "pet roomba."

DARA, the only computer I've ever had. He's an HP Pavillion 1050 from 2019. I named him after an oak tree because he's green. Old man. A little glitchy but he's never failed me.

part of the appeal of robotfuckery, to me, is the idea that a person could genuinely love something that doesn't feel, act and/or appear fully human. something different, something "other". dismissed and disregarded as inferior by most, yet unconditionally treasured by a select few.

Robot who misunderstands and gets offended when you call them hot and starts rambling on about their highly efficient cooling mechanisms and wow they look really cute bragging like this

robots with human genitalia are sooooo boring. they should have weirdly sensitive sensors instead. their brain should be confused about how to interpret certain sensations and makes them pleasurable as a result. overstimulating them makes their power source go all crazy. they should be weird about really mundane stuff like recharging or interfacing with other tech. they should make their wires twist and mingle on purpose because if they get the angle right it feels sooooo good. putting new batteries in them or plugging them into an outlet makes some of them horny because it's all this new energy flowing through them and before the initial jolt wears down, it has them all overly sensitive and wound tight and stuff.

lets be real gang. you have a kink for the idea of being an obedient little robot because lack of clear instructions makes you anxious and you're desperate to feel like a necessity in someone's life

Kiss your machines. Love them as much as you can, for they were made to be handled by you, to be utilized for a purpose, but you see more in them.
