woke up late today so im only a few eps into the xmen animated series but i got some snacks courtesy of my mom so since yall decreed two multis for both fandoms ill be working on those promos soon.

Not much, really. They once built a paradox machine simply to torture the Doctor and kept him locked in a cage. "The pest went back on his own timeline to relieve his own guilt instead of living with his actions. Someone had to correct the timeline."

The Rani blinked, then took a step back. Yes, this Master was certainly...different. They'd always been unhinged, sure, but this felt distinct from that.

When their words registered, the Rani paused, narrowing her eyes. Were they implying what she thought they were?

"And what, exactly, is that supposed to mean? Taking inspiration from a certain pest?"

The way she said the words was quick and confident, but if someone knew her well enough, they would be able to detect a flicker of worry behind her eyes.

"Seriously, I love him, Ushas, but I would never let him near my family functions. He's going to come home and be embarrassed when it turns out he'd done something unspeakably stupid and gotten an earful from his father," Koschei says, pulling a blade of grass up and holding it over his face, systematically tearing it apart.

He remembered the flubble incident very clearly, having been subjected to Theta's rants about his parents for days afterwards. And then the incident of his cousin's wedding when he'd been trussed up in the Lungbarrow's traditional finery and hadn't tied the robes properly... Theta Sigma was a constant disaster waiting to happen.

"I probably should take the quiet time to do schoolwork, but there's only so many situational physics problems one can do before their brain starts to melt out of their ears. Do you have any experiments going that you'd like assistance with?"

She saw red at his teasing, and she flushed in embarrassment. A game of hide-and-go-seek didn't really matter in the long run, but if there was anything Ushas hated, it was when she wasn't the best at something. She was a firm believer that second place was first loser, and the thought of losing was blasphemous to her.

She shook it off, regaining her composure, and ignoring how hard she was panting. She at least took solace in the fact that he seemed to be having a harder time than her catching his breath (whether that was accurate or not was a whole other matter).

"Why do they even bother taking him to those events? It's like they want their reputation to be smeared."

Regardless of whether she liked Theta or not (and she, begrudgingly, did) it was known to all that he brought chaos wherever he went. Last time one of those pompous family get-togethers had come around, she'd heard that he'd led a pack of wild flubbles in through the back and rallied them to eat everything on the banquet table. The point was that Theta wanted nothing to do with the squabbling of disgraced nobility.

"Well, what's your plan in the meantime while you two idiots are tragically separated?"
