There is a little spoilers, but, not to much.

History.

The story of DTale begins with the death of the first fallen human (Chara) whose soul to be fused by Asriel brings the death of the latter. However this does not end well, after the merger of both souls is created subject X that is found by Asgore and taken to Gaster which began to experiment with the hybrid in secret, being that subject X passes away by this. Gaster realizes that the monsters have a 10% determination and using the DNA of subject X next to his creates a container to which he inserts part of the soul of subject X and one of the fallen humans, creating two hybrids.

After the death of the fallen humans the monsters begin to suffer an increase in their determination, that although it does not kill them, it reduces their life time.

Characters.

Frisk: In this AU it has gender and is masculine, its reset control has become stronger due to the exorbitant atmosphere of determination to the point of being able to control time at will.

Determination: Infinite.

Toriel: The caretaker of the ruins remains the same as always, with the slight difference that her appearance is somewhat injured and even aged by the determination.

Determination: 368 percent.

Flowey: The flower has been one of the characters with more changes, now it is a combination between the memories of Chara and Asriel which leads to erratic personality changes.

Determination: Having no soul does not have DT.

Sans: It is one of the hybrids created by Gaster, his determination is close to that of Frisk being able to alter the files of saved and load, his broken skull blue flames overflow. By having part of the celestial soul has small "Flash backs" of the life of that human. Its power to alter the file is limited since it exhausts a lot of energy.

He calls himself "Century" and is aware of the existence of the multiverse.

Determination: 550 percent

Papyrus: The personality of Papyrus changes completely since it has the memories of the human owner of part of his soul, commonly this something depressed since the last wish of the human before dying was to find his lost brother which fell through the mountain Ebott Al is a hybrid created by Gaster, from his broken skull emerged orange and intense flames. In addition to that he has the ability to alter the physics of his surroundings, even continuing with his desire to be part of the royal guard.

Determination: 420 percent.

Undyne: It is the only monster that the determination has not managed to overcome, however, it is difficult to keep it at bay, not being aware despite its determination is unable to alter the files stored but has a great capacity for endurance.

Alphys: To be a monster the determination has not consumed her so her appearance has not changed unlike her clothes, it is something more serious and determined in terms of personality.

Mettaton: Being a phantom part does not absorb determination, however, being in physical form the determination goes deep inside, causing an increase in his abilities and defense.

Asgore: The king of the monsters looks somewhat old, his adorable appearance is now ragged and neglected, one of his horns is broken product of war in addition to the scar in his left eye due to the encounter he had with subject X.

This is what I have for now, at this time I can not advance or create the comic since I'm busy and that takes time, but you can find images of the characters and small shorts around here. Note: I did not make the tab of Asriel or Chara to leave them in suspense.

Some clarifications + FAQ

What is DTale?

DTale is an alternate universe of Undertale where monsters have been "infected" by saying so, with determination.

It is an original idea created by me, it suddenly came to me, now the storyboard is in production along with the script but the character design is done and will soon be uploaded on this platform or in deviantart.

When will the comic be published?

There is no specific date for the release of the comic or at least of its first pages, estimated roughly that will be released at most in January or February 2019

Since the comic has not yet been published here a few clarifications. The design of the characters has not yet been digitized, they are currently in my sketch book along with other sketches, once the comic is published it will be limited its usu, if you want to do fandub or translate the comic, for me it is always good and When you leave the credits, it is hard work and we deserve credit. As for the characters, they can be used in fancomics, fanfics, etc. But please send me your creations, I would like to see them.

The comic updates will be somewhat slow, in fact, I'm studying in college and split my time is a bit complicated, I must rest to not become a bundle of nerves and make an absurd and incoherent story.

What has to do with the AU will be published exclusively on this blog, although you are free to follow me on my personal blog where I share stupidities, fanarts will be uploaded to deviantart, which will be created by me, but without having any relationship with the story.

In the future and if the story is successful or they like it, I will see the possibility of making an Ask so you can ask what you want.
