Do or Do Not: There is Still No Date

I have had a couple of my friends share their stories from trying to date online and in real life. It is amazing how difficult it is to find someone to go one A date with, let alone find someone to have a relationship with.

When using a dating ap, men and women alike come across some interesting conversations and people.

Do:

Be honest.

Be clear with your intentions and expectations.

Be kind.

Do Not:

Be unnecessarily mean.

Pretend to be something your not in order to get them to like you.

Verbally attack someone.

Lie.

Mess around with people’s emotions.

Say you want a second date when you don’t.

Say things you wouldn’t say to that persons face. There is another person on the other side of that screen.

Give someone your number when you don’t intend on responding.

Go to IKEA.

Ghost.

Overall, just be a decent human being. There is no need to be cruel or rude. Dating is hard for everyone! Be clear with your intent, if someone gets all hurt if you tell them the truth, then maybe they are not the right person for you.
