Here's day three of our Wheeler loop pictures. I'm not sure if I stated this, but these pictures are taken from a lomo'instant camera. The second day we spent at lost lake and hung out in order to acclimate. It was relaxing. We hiked around the lake, played cards, and just enjoyed the backcountry. On the third day, we moved from lost lake to horse shoe. It was a .9 or so mile walk, a direct opposite from the first day where we had to walk over 5 miles in under 2 hours. That was an interesting hike (the first day) because a) it was all up hill and b) one of our guys had a bum knee! Anyways, by the time we made it to horse shoe in the early afternoon, we made camp on an awful incline. #backcountry #lostlake #newmexico #redriver #backpacking
