i'm not a celebrity and just model as a side hustle so i don't get that privilege. one-off jobs typically already have pokemon from their own agency that they want to feature in mind, so its simply a matter of being paired up with a pokemon they think suits your appearance rather than them picking from your team.

once or twice i've gotten offers to shoot with tsui, but they found him temperamental and quickly abandoned the idea.

definitely when she first learned that she could fly and that of course she wanted to share that experience with me. absolutely terrifying in the moment, I only got half her riding gear on before she yanked me into the sky -- luckily she listened when i told her to get back down so i could finish. once i remembered that she loves me too much to drop me and that we were actually going at a slower pace than i thought we were, i was able to relax and enjoy the experience.

she still loves flying and is smart enough to know when i need to go to the department of flight to get my license renewed. she doesn't like the tests (no one does) but still gets up early and reminds me.

octavia is my hydreigon. i've had her for almost a decade; my dad was housing a pack of released newborn deino temporarily and octavia got attached to me. it took a lot of convincing for him to let me keep her (understandable, honestly) but i wouldn't have any other pokemon as my partner. we've had our ups and downs, but she's silly at heart and loves her chin scritches.

this one's not my pokemon, but i also battled using a fraxure during my time at the opelucid gym. he was very well trained with a gentle demeanor, and at the start of my job he was more the doing the battling. i hear he belongs to a dojo owner now, i should visit sometime and see how he's doing...

my personal ranking of patterns. "bulbasaur/feebas/nidoran/egg/etc" patterns not included due to the sheer amount of names people call it. this is exclusively about patterns based on pokemon coats, other pokefashion motifs such as pikachu tails, octillery tentacle patterns, sylveon ribbons, and so on would have made this tier list way too long.

confession: i never understood the appeal of togepi print. it's cute on smaller accessories, but i'm not a fan of it being used on larger items

there's a rumor going around my university that giovanni is in the area so people are responding by just fucking. cosplaying him everywhere. giovanni around every corner. they had to send out an email to all the students to stop (though i think a couple were like. actual team rocket grunts? which is fucked up if true)
