Idk if it’s just me but i really do find tumblr to be one of the most enjoyable places to post art. Like the engagement and ability to leave tags has always made me feel a lot more connected to the people interacting with my art. I love snooping through peoples tags and seeing how something i created fits into their collections, or just how they feel about it in general. Idk, it’s just always been my favorite. Thanks to everyone who shares and enjoys my art, you guys are the coolest :)))

Honestly when people say their art needs to get "more weird" they usually mean that as in "less commercial/less broadly appealing" and I think the answer to this is not to insert artificial Quirky Weird Style Stuff into it I think you just need to get uncomfortably earnest. What's the thing you really want to draw but feel shy about putting the effort into because it'd be too sincere an admission. You need to draw that. I want to see it

The greatest thing about OCs is that they take zero resources. You just make em up in your head in literal seconds. No one said they have to be super meaningful. For instance while typing this post I just imagined a character he's 3milimetres tall and a stickman and plays soccer his name is Fentanyl . Boom done. I'm having a great time
