더스트테일/머더샌즈 AU 설정 정리

언더테일 2차 창작인 더스트테일에 대한 설정을 정리한 글입니다.

1. 더스트테일 배경

 언더테일에서 셀 수 없는 몰살이 반복되다 어느 몰살에서 샌즈가 죽기 직전에 알 수 없는 이유로 세상이 처음으로 돌아갑니다. 리셋을 겪었으나 기억은 지워지지 않고 샌즈는 인간을 막기 위해 LOVE를 쌓다 자신과 멀어져 결국엔 돌이킬 수 없게 됩니다. 

　· 일종의 IF물입니다.

　· 이유는 어떻게 설정해도 무방합니다.

　· 이제 샌즈는 의지를 가지고 있습니다.

2. 머더샌즈

 리셋에 기억을 잃지 않게 되어 리셋과 세이브, 로드를 모두 기억합니다. 때문에 머더샌즈에게도 N회차가 존재합니다. 

 초기 회차에는 미친 정도가 약하나 회차가 진행될수록 LOVE의 영향으로 자신과 점점 더 멀어져갑니다. 

 죄악의 대가로 끔찍한 악몽에 자주 시달립니다. 악몽을 피하기 위해 잠자는 걸 꺼리다보니 불면증을 가지고 있습니다.

 예전만큼 즐기지는 않지만 농담은 여전히 합니다. 

 ‘끔찍한 시간을 보내고 싶어?’라고 묻는 대신 ‘미친 시간을 보내게 될 거야!’라고 일방적으로 통고합니다. We’re gonna have a MAD time!

 인간이 불살루트로 끝내면 어떻게 될지 모르기 때문에 적극적으로 막습니다. 

 LOVE가 올라 쉽게 죽지는 않습니다. 인간처럼 리셋 후에는 EXP와 LOVE가 초기화됩니다. 

　　 2.1. 외형

　　　 외투색은 정해져 있지 않습니다. 검은색, 남색, 파란색, 회색 계열에서 마음에 드는대로 하면 됩니다.

　　　 죽은 괴물들의 먼지가 외투에 묻어있습니다. 더스트테일이 된 이유입니다.

　　　 후드를 쓰고 다닙니다.

　　　 정의를 상실해 노란색 안광은 더 이상 없습니다. 대신 인간을 죽이려는 의지로 붉게 빛납니다.

　　　 안광은 붉은색과 푸른색이 섞여 보라색입니다. 끈기.

　　2.2. 성격 

　　　인간을 죽이려는 의지 때문에 더 이상 게으르지 않습니다.

　　　예전처럼 즐기진 않지만 농담은 여전히 합니다. 

　　　미친놈이다보니 예측이 불가능합니다.

　　　광기, 잔인함, 학살을 즐깁니다. 

　　　비겁한 방법을 사용하는 걸 꺼리지 않습니다. 

　　　초기 회차엔 죄악감, 죄책감을 강하게 느끼나 회차가 진행될수록 그 강도가 낮아집니다. 

3. 인간

 더스트테일의 인간은 프리스크나 차라가 아닙니다. 샌즈는 더 이상 꼬마, 꼬맹이라고 부르지 않습니다. 대신에 인간 혹은 플레이어라고 부릅니다.

 과도한 몰살로 샌즈를 미치게 만든 원인입니다. 샌즈가 리셋에 기억을 잃었다면 별 상관 없었겠지만요. 

 세이브와 로드, 리셋은 여전히 가능합니다. 

 머더샌즈는 인간의 영혼을 취하는 것엔 관심이 없습니다. 영혼을 얻어 밖으로 나가거나 힘을 얻는 걸 목적으로 하는 게 아니라 인간을 막기 위해 행동하는 거니까요.

4. 파피루스

 머더샌즈를 설득하려 하나 실패합니다. 

 머더샌즈는 초기 회차에는 파피루스를 죽이는 걸 꺼립니다. 하지만 죽이지 않으면 인간에게 죽는다는 걸 알게 되고 가능한 고통 없는 죽음을 주려고 합니다.

 N번 죽인 후부터 파피루스의 환영을 보게 됩니다. 

5. 환영 파피루스

 파피루스의 머리와 스카프, 손만 남아 떠다닙니다. 

 파피루스와는 달리 머더샌즈의 학살을 재촉하는 등 잔인한 성격을 지니고 있습니다. 

 환영과 마주한지 얼마 되지 않았을 때에는 죄악감, 죄책감, 두려움에 꺼리나 피할 수 없다는 걸 알고 동생처럼 아끼게 됩니다. 

6. 괴물들

 EXP와 취급이 같습니다.

7. 기타

 게임 시스템을 파악하고 있기 때문에 세이브 포인트와 상자, 상점 등 인간에게 유리한 것들을 파괴하기도 합니다. 

 지하에 있는 여섯 영혼에는 관심이 없습니다.  #관련 글 링크

8. 부족한 설정

 창작을 위해 빈 설정이 존재합니다. 빈 부분들은 마음대로 생각하시면 됩니다. 예를 들면,
