"Nurture, play, feed, repeat." That's all she ever knew how to do in her earlier life. Abigale always loved taking care of the children, and the children loved her. A kind would who would do anything for those she cared for.

"Nurture, play, feed, send." Abigale is a gentle mouse, but she was weary when she sent the kids to the scientists. They always come out... a shell of their formal selves. It's like they got their soul sucked out of them... and they usually come with new features too. Be it a tail or ears or some deformed animal body part, it always weirded Abigale out (pretty ironic), but it's the scientists! Surely they aren't doing anything wrong.

"Nurture... play... feed...?" Abigale was starting to doubt the scientists and purposesly not send the children. She'd make up any excuse such as "they are sick," or "she cannot find them," unfortunately they caught on pretty quick and resorted to taking the children when Abigale wasn't watching. Abigale knew something was up, but what?

"Nurture. Play. Feed. Protect" She started not sending the children after finding out about the experiments, a lowsey fail in the scientists part as the door should've been kept locked when they tested the children. Abigale started being hostile towards the scientists, making sure they knew how much she loathed them.

"Nurture. Indoctrinate. Use. Betray." Abigale was beaten half way to death and thrown out, a new nurse replacing her. They left her to rot in the cold, but that didn't stop her. She now has a new mission: destroy the scientists, destroy their work, and make sure there is nothing left for them to reclaim. She wanted to make sure this never happens again.

As the saying goes, "as quiet as a mouse"
