I know it says one square per fic -- could I do a multichapter fic with one square per chapter and it all ties together?

Preferably, each fic would only use one square per card, as that was what I had in mind when creating the event.

However, I can't stop you from doing one square per chapter though.

As you can see, I have rebranded! Now on top of Eddie Diaz Week, I will be hosting other Eddie-centric events!

I'm hoping to have our first event planned soon, but to keep up to date with us, join us over on our Discord!

As of now, it is unknown if this event will be hosted this year.

I had all intentions of hosting the event as I did last year (I had been planning prompts for the last few months!), but it seems someone else is hosting an Eddie Diaz Week.

Unfortunately, because of this, I don't currently know if I'll be comfortable hosting my own version of it. I don't want to be seen as someone who is copying someone else and sadly, that's how I feel it'll be seen if I host this Eddie week in 2025, even though this is the blog that hosted it in 2024.

This is being debated heavily at the moment and discussed with others. Stay tuned for future details.

This was my first idea for @eddiediaz-week way back in September, but I just didn't have the time to edit it properly, so I held back on it until I got to edit it, and now here it is (the first chapter, anyway). Tired of his mom's nagging, Eddie tells a lie that spirals wildly out of control. - "He has someone else he can go to," Eddie said automatically, Buck's smiling face flashing into his mind. "Your friend Buck doesn't count," she said dismissively, and Eddie felt his hackles rising defensively. "I'm talking about a partner, Eddie. Someone who will commit to being with you and Christopher for the rest of your lives." "Buck is committed," Eddie said before he could think about what he was saying. "He's not going anywhere." There was a pause on the other end of the line. "When you say committed…" she asked hesitantly, voice trailing off.

Friends I am loving writing this so much so far!! It's already 4k and I still have so much planned for it! I don't usually post fics before they're finished but I couldn't help myself, I have to share it! (Plus I'm hoping that by doing so I'll motivate myself to stay focused on it and finish it without jumping around to other projects instead.)
