sick fic for danny johnson

an old fic while i write more, even with no one to write for lol this was more self indulged than I remembered, but it should be fine? gender neutral for everyone tho, CHILD READER diff colors for people who can't quite understand when it isn't specified which character is talkingggg Danny- blue reader- pink they woke up on the couch as usual, maybe feeling a bit colder this time. they sat there for a few minutes as usual as they tried to wake up. they rolled out of the blankets onto the floor, that all too familiar feeling of something in their throat appearing. they ran down the hall into the bathroom and hunched over the toilet, listening to the footsteps of Danny behind them, "kid?" "Are you ok?" he leaned down beside them and placed a hand on their back in a soothing position. their eyes watering as they struggle to answer. "it's ok, just breathe." He sighed as he continued the comforting motion on their back. they turned and latched onto Danny, "I feel sick." "yeah, I could tell, hun." He laughed. danny stood up and half-jogged to the kitchen, grabbing the thermometer and rushing back into the bathroom. "ready?""It's going to feel cold." they nodded as he placed it on their forehead. "what does it say?" they asked as he pulled it away. "kid, a temp of 101." he looked at them and sighed. "I'm tired." "hold on." he kneeled in front of them and signaled for them to get on his back. He carried them out to the kitchen and set them on a counter, turning his back and grabbing ibuprofen. they watched as he slipped on his mask and grabbed his jacket. "Where are you going?" "I'm grabbing you a Sprite and finishing work for today. Get sleep while I'm gone." - tried my best to change this from 1st person to 3rd person lol- 1st person fics make me uncomfy for no reason

A very kind soul, i feel he would love animals. humans are a different story.
