Hair Theory

Whenever the characters of 9-1-1 are comfortable with who they are, comfortable with where they are thats when their hair is free.

Buck - his hair started to get curly, started to be free after he came out as bisexual. After he knew himself and was comfortable with himself.

Eddie - he wanted it to seem like he was comfortable, seem like he was okay but no, he wasn’t. He wanted to seem like it so he had his hair free, and something to cover what was really happening - the moustache. In the new episodes they are filming, Eddie’s hair doesn’t have gel, meaning he feels comfortable where he is. Meaning he is comfortable with himself without having to hide who he is.

Idk if anyone has said this yet but like idk, I really like the idea.
