The PLA player went though a lot. First they were kidnapped by Arceus and sent back in time away from all of their friends and family, they were forced to adapt to a new environment they weren’t use too, almost nobody trusted them no matter how hard they worked, and right when they think they finally have that trust, everyone except Volo turns their backs on them only for Volo to then betray them later. And Arceus doesn’t even sent them home after.

Whoa, this is a really good analysis thanks! I guess we won’t really know for sure. But it’s cute to think of Aster as a friend/mentor to her! She’s a very mysterious character and there’s a lot we still don’t know about her. If only the game had given her more screen time because I would love to have seen more from her and her backstory.
Does anyone else wonder about who Aster was to Zinnia? I’ve seen a lot of people head canon that she was her daughter but isn’t Zinnia too young? I think I saw somewhere that she’s about 17-19.
